Absolutely nothing. Sadly enough, people neglect/abuse/sexually hurt babies for no reason whatsoever.

She probably just wanted some attention and love.  

Keep an eye out for outward physical signs. I would also put an in anonymous call to your state's abuse hotline and have them do an investigation.

No, we just found out about the investigation because they confiscated her phone. And she of course, lied and said she couldn't "afford" her bill. (She gets a disability check every month for having MS)


And thats what I said. I don't know what the hell I am going to do with my baby girl.

Also, Paula (the other grandmother) was never like this. Really. She has always been a dumbass. But she has neglected my BIL since he was younger by marrying man after man after man. She left her 3 sons of christmas a couple years ago. His brothers now are 13 and 8, so how sweet of her.

She was very good with Katie at first. But I just don't think she can handle it. For some god awful reason.She would rather get laid by some trash bomb then to spend time with my niece.

It's sad when children are abused. It's sick.

I'm so sorry this happened! It's totally heart breaking to hear about babies being neglected like this. I'm surprised that BIL was willing for his mother to care for his child if he has a history of being neglected by her himself. I think the best thing you can do for this little girl is just shower her with all the love you can possibly spare and tell her how wonderful, beautiful, and loved she is. No matter how small they are they understand the language of love.

I guess Nick(BIL) never wanted to give up on his mom. But she married this nut she met off the net, May 28th. Thats a nice 3 months.  I do not trust her. I told her to never come near my property, as she will make the value go down or I will knock her out.

Sorry for being so trashy. But when its comes to my niece, I will do anything.   I refuse to let it happen again. In plus, we have such a blast together.
