I'm under the impression that stage 2 isn't until 12 months but i could be wrong, i kept mine on it for that long, i also still give him formula in the morning for "breakfast" and he is 16 months, just to make sure he's getting all the vitamins and all that, i figure it can't hurt.

right, i actually looked at the can, stage 2 is 6 months. I've never even seen stage 3 here in edmonton. I kept mine on stage 1 till a year and then switched to stage 2 with of course table food.

I know but I just wanted him to have all the vitamins and such, actually thinking back i think i started him on stage 2 around 9 months but every so often would get stage 1, i figure it couldn't hurt, women can breastfeed for years so whats wrong with keeping him on formula longer right?

He is now on the Stage 2, I figure I'll keep him on that till about 18 months or so. I mean he still gets food and milk and all that but I always give him a cup of formula (like 6 oz) in the morning with breakfast to start him off good.
