has anyone?

Has anyone tried nipple stimulation with a breast pumpto get labour started? if you have how long did you do it for (each side) how many times did you do it (each side)did it work for you (did it bring on contractions?) im just looking for some advice on how to do it if anyone has done it sucessfully. i have done both breasts each one time now, for five minutes each side, and i waited 15 minutes between breasts, do you think this will actually help bring on contractions? My doctor has said that the baby can come anytime from the 10th - 20th so im just trying to get things moving!! and i my doctor had mentioned nipple stimulation. i looked it up and saw some women use breats pumps, now i just want to get your thoughts/oppinions and if it actually worked for you please do let me know how you did, how long, how many times etc. thanks ladies!!

Your due date isn't for 10 days!! You'll go into labor when your baby is ready... not when you are.... I hope you're not thinking of doing this...

Yes your baby can come between those times, but that doesn't mean your baby is ready. Just wait it out. You signed up for 40+ weeks

Because the baby may not be ready to come out yet.

research it. it's not suggested bc it could put you into hard labor. now if you're already in the hospital being monitored it's fine. but it's not rec. if the baby isn't being monitored. i researcched it quite a bit while i was pregnant.

Dont always listen to your doctor, mine told me to take castor oil

If you try to do any self-inducing chances are it won't work until the baby is ready to come out. So my suggestion is wait until he is ready to be born

maybe you're dr. is a dumbass? idk, i'm just saying. from what i read it isn't recommended. research it more. i don't remember where i read it and quite frankly am not going to go look. i'm just telling you i have read it. and bedides that your baby isn't even due!!!!!! wth?
