Merina birth control?

Do any of you use Merina as your birth control?
If so, do you like it?

yes and i absolutely love it. I would never use anything but.

ONLY when they are putting it in. Thats only for a few seconds, it feels like a strong contraction.

cuz i like the fact that i dont ha ve to worry about taken a pill or a shot, and that i can still breat feed with it

Yea, i always forgot to take the pills. I didnt like getting the shot. So this worked out nicely.

Ladies, I had Merina in for 5 years. Please do your homework, there are many undisclosed side effects that they don't tell you. It tricks your body into thinking it is pregnant, you gain 10-40 lbs around the pregnancy areas, and SOOO many more side effects that are figured out too late. SO if you are looking to get one, or already have one, google MERINA SIDE EFFECTS and read all of the posts. There are some shocking revelations. I found all of this out on Tuesday and had mine removed on Friday.

Ill stick with my Mirena still. Its lovely. 

I also have the mirena, and I like it. It didn't hurt too bad for me. Just some pressure. It did take some getting used to, though. For the first few weeks, maybe months, after sex or exercising, I would have some cramp-like pains. Nothing that lasted long, and that all went away after probably 2-3 months. (That's just my experience, though  ) I love it now, and have NO problems.Best thing about it is, I don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday! (I'm horrible with remembering to take pills)

i had the mirena in for about 4 months and hated it with a passion. Mine fell out twice and idk how many times my husband moved in during sex and i had to see my ob to put it back. They are very dangerous if they get pushed to a certain place it can make you infertile. After mine being moved about 6 times i got mad and took it out so i could get pregnant. Thank god i did cuz it turned out i was 2 weeks pregnant when the dr removed my mirena. lol. At my first ultrasound they said the mirena left a cyst on my ovary. I would reccomend something else. I also gained some weight off it and it was very uncomfortable during sex. Do your homework on it.
