Have your baby walking in a snap!

posted 10th Jun
Hey. So the moms in my neighborhood seeing me walking around my son... and keep asking me about this product i use... and nag how great Davion is doing trying to walk.   I passed the word along... and my neighbors daughter, who is also 9 mos... was walking within 2 weeks!!!!!
I use a combination of two things:

Walking Wings... which i used for someone else first. my friend who has scoliosis... and she said it was the best shower gift EVER! great for anyone with back problems. me too, as im a retired dancer.

2nd.
OLD FASHIONED WALKING SHOES:
ya know, the classic old leather ones people used to bronze. stride rite has the newer version. Davion has the old fashioned hand me downs. and I love em' , get compliments on them allllllll the time!

(i think the white ones are kinda tacky. lol.)

so. Using Walking Wings AND classic walking shoes (when outside... he cruise barefoot 75% of the time) seems to have helped a lot of cruising babies walk much faster!!!!!
Passing along my mommy advice ..... hope it helps! and Much Luck with your little ones trying to walk!!!

Or you could let them hold your hands while you walk around with them.

My daughter walked right after she turned 10 months without spending money.

Aw, I'm not ready for mine to be walking. Or even crawling.   I definitely don't want to help him do it faster.

Sophie is 14 months old and won't walk to save her life (even though she stands without holding on for minutes at a time). She just doesn't have the confidence yet.

I figured she'll do it when she's ready  .

The shoes are sweet though, aren't they?

Exactly. I asked my pedi about the walking wings and he said there is no point unless your child has some reason why they cant hold thier arms up.

It is also proven that babies learn to walk better barefoot or with the slimmest sole possible on the shoe(for like outside).

putting shoes on babies who aren't efficient walkers is actually detrimental to them learning how to walk... it's been shown to delay independent walking in many, many studies

just lettin ya know

but that walking wings thing looks awesome so you don't have to bend over!

my daughter was the same way...I knew she could do it, and she cruised everywhere with like 1 hand, lol, but she lacked the confidence. She got it though a few months ago, but ya, I think she was scared of falling or something.

Why is everyone in a rush to get babies to do stuff before they are ready...... I understand aiding them if the are already trying to walk but seriously buying stuff to get them walking quicker is just beyond me..... smh........

My son took his first un aided steps at 8 months and must not have liked it cause from then on he would either crawl or hold on to stuff it wasnt until he was about 18 months old that he decided that walking was for him and from that day he hasnt turned back but while he was walking he was learning so much other stuff shapes and colors and stuff now my daughter has been walking exclusivly since she was 11 months old she hates crawling but her speach hasnt started as quick as his did..... Kids learn about the things that they want to be able to do brandon wanted to be able to talk Freya wanted to be able to walk who am I to get in their way and make them learn what I want them too......
