elmo live?

this is my first time in parents with toddlers.

my son will be 1 next month & he really likes elmo, so i was thinking about elmo live for him, possibly...

if you have it...was it worth it? does your child like it?

i want to know the good, bad & the ugly about your elmo live!!

My son love his Elmo Live. His aunt got him one when he was only a month old but he's been watching and listening to elmo since he's been about 4mos old. He's 7 mos now but it's the one thing that will always make him smile.

That is an amazing elmo! It's really cool and he does a lot. My only problem with it is my daughter played with it for about a week and that was all. We spent $70 on it.   It would be totally worth it, though, if he likes elmo a lot and you could always hide elmo if he gets disinterested in it and bring it back out a few months later and it'll be a whole new toy!

my fiancee has a friend whos daughter has elmo live. Its amazing, I want on just for myself but unfortunately my fiancee is terrrified of elmo and screams every time he sees anything elmo related.

We got it at Christmas for my then 19 month old daughter. My 3.5 year old and now almost 2 year old love it and sing and dance with it often

yeah, we have buckets that we rotate daily so they only see elmo once, maybe twice a week.

I think it's cute, my daughter has it and loves it. She was afraid of him in the beginning, I put it away for a while and brought it back out a few months later, you never know. Of course, your son won't be able to do all of the stuff it can do, but he'll learn as it goes. My daughter's favorite is squeezing his nose, it tells stories which she is pretty much uniterested in at this point, but it asks you to help him up if he falls down. It's cute, she also has Tickle me Elmo and likes that one just as much.

i just watched a video review of it with him in my lap, & he was smiling, talking & laughing at just the video...so i think it may just be a hit!

we don't have an elmo live, but we have the dance with me elmo. Ethan loves watching elmo on tv, but when we got the dance with me elmo, he completely freaked! he hated it! he screams whenever elmo starts shaking his leg! LOL

My son has about six Elmos. We got him Elmo Live for Christmas last year and he loves it. He hasn't played with it for awhile but he played with it for a good week and a half. Sometimes he'll pull it out and play with it. He prefers his Tickle Me Elmo more though. But overall, he loves all of his Elmos and plays with all of them eventually. He just goes through cycles.

well, he LOVES it in the store & he has an "up up elmo" at my parent's house that he loves...so i don't have to be worried about the in person thing, lol, but that's hilarious that ethan does that!

can you get tickle me elmos anywhere now? i'm not sure.

he has an "up up elmo" but he gets bored with it, lol. i think it's because it doesn't do much...which is why i was thinking elmo live...hmmmmm, i dunno if i want to spend that much on it, though. lol. i wish it was $30 instead of $60+  

Troy got Elmo Live for xmas from my parents. He was scared at first, but then liked him. He was 5 months old then and I have not brought it out lately so I will bring it out again. I think it is worth it and I believe that the price has gone down somewhat since when it first came out.
