Quoting ***Steff***: I have 2 children...Natalee(my step-daughter) is 2 and a half, and Chloe is 1!!! It was really hard to ... [snip!] ... takes so much work lol It will get easier i promise...the little one will get older and be able to do things on his ownI have two boys, Mikey is almost 4 and Andy is 7 months. This is great advice (though my husband didn't like my son playing with a doll I pointed out that he will be a father some day) so I gave my son a doll when Andy was younger so during Andy's bathtime so that he had his own baby to wash and pretty much left me alone. Now Andy is old enough to take baths with his brother, and they both love it While I was feeding Andy I would try to read to Mikey (this doesn't work as well any more b/c Andy is a nosey baby now that he is older), and I always put Andy to bed at least one hour prior to Mikey so that I make sure that Mikey gets some individual attention from me.
Quoting Gemma ~ Jasmin and Kai's: Wow, I admire you, how do you find time for anything? Kai is a real fussy baby and I can barely ever ... [snip!] ... ever get anything done without him screaming and Jasmin always demands things when I am trying to feed/change/wind/bath Kai lol
Quoting Leigh{30++}: I have 2. My first is 32 months (2 years 8 months). My second just turned one. I completely agree with ... [snip!] ... few months, so it won't be a problem anymore.. well... lol at least until #3 comes along... we will hopefully be TTC in July...Your first baby is a month younger than my eldest, so they are at the same stage and I cannot imagine having to contend with a one year old as well as her! She is at the demanding need to know, need to be doing things all the time, need to have attention all the time stage and Kai is at the need to have something 24 hour a day age. But his not walking, crawling or anything like a one year old would be, you must have your hands full and then trying for number three, man your brave! We have decided we don't want anymore, mainly because my pregnancy with my second was bad and the labour was too painful for me to even imagine wanting to do it againg, I am keen on adopting when the children are grown up a bit though, although hubby still needs to be convinced a bit more on that idea!
Quoting Ava&Kiley+1: tell me about it, I'm already busy! lol. Avas a big helper already with Kiley so hopefully they'll both help out a lot.
Quoting mforman: I have 3 boys Daniel is 4 1/2 Kevin is 2 And Charlie is almost 7 weeks. And life is currently chaotic ... [snip!] ... out. With having more than one i have found with time everything falls into place. Once a routine is in place the chaos subsidesGoodness me you are brave! I have heard so many people say it just falls into place, it hasn't happened for me yet, it's still caotic lol! Tips on routine would be much appreicated as we just don't have one right now!
Quoting ***Steff***: I have 2 children...Natalee(my step-daughter) is 2 and a half, and Chloe is 1!!! It was really hard to ... [snip!] ... takes so much work lol It will get easier i promise...the little one will get older and be able to do things on his ownThat is my exact problem, everytime I sit down to feed Kai, Jasmin always wants something and if Kai has something, she wants it, like a bath. So it's hard work keeping up with both of their needs and I long for the day we have routine and Kai sleeps through the night. I try really hard to make sure Jasmin still has my attention as much as possible and I sit her down and tell her we haven't forgotten her and we still love her just as much as we always did whenever I feel she is feeling insecure and she has these outbursts occasionally when she has done something not safe like putting a bib over her brother's face because his been sick and smothering with it because she sees me doing something similar and doesn't understand he can't breathe the way she does it and I tell her she mustn't do that, she bursts into tears and it breaks my heart to think she might be feeling left out.
Quoting Suzie (DAS)GDS(BAMF)BBM: They are VERY helpful! Everytime I had a baby, I said "this is the last one".... But it wasn't, lol.... This last time, I just really wanted a boy!
Quoting Tara Sandoval: i have a 14 month old girl and a 3 week old boy!!
Quoting Xzaviers_Mama: I have: Xzavier, 5 Julien, 16 months New baby due in August.. And I babysit a 3 year old girl. I have zero time to do anything... and I miss when my house used to be spotless. Wow crazyness! I bet you are rushed off your feet all day everyday! How do you manage and do you ever get time to yourself, I struggle now with the place getting untidy and I can't stand it
Quoting *Spottieottiedopalicious*: Its not always easy lol It helps that my oldest is in year round school so in the mornings its just ... [snip!] ... are in a suitable situation to care for kids by themselves... so its just me. But they are worth it. BG is my escape.
Quoting William+Ziva=My♥'s: Hi! I have a son, William, who is 22 months, and a daughter, Ziva, who is just two weeks old...
