Christmas Parade Question: Due December 7th

Hi I'm due in two weeks and getting nervous! I'm wondering if I should go to the Santa Claus Parade Saturday... It's farther away from the hospital than my house (I'm 3 or 4 blocks away) It's on Main St which can be around 10 blocks or so away at the closest... This is my first baby so I think I should be fine, what do you think?

I think you'll be fine.

i think that you will be ok once you go into labor you will know it and the baby wont come out right when you go into labor so you will have time to get to the hospital it dosnt sound like its that far of a distance from the hospital

Any thing Ive read says that early labor lasts several hours....pretty much you could sit and enjoy the parade until your either too uncomfortable; or the contractions are getting close; or your waters break.....and with any of those, 10 blocks shouldnt be too far away from the hospital.   I live *WAY* further from my hospital than that, and Iam not too worried.
