3cm dilated & bloody show

Okay I went to the drs. today I'm 3cm dilated. and I know labor begins at 4cm. I also lost my mucus plug a few days ago and saw my bloody show today. I know labor must be near? My mom is making me so nervous, I let my bf take the car to work today and my mom is on her way over here to get me, because she doesn't want me alone when labor starts "tonight" lol. little does she know i only get contractions after sex...so i dont think i'll be going until i am brave enough to go ahead and ....have sex lol. i'm soooo scared...of the unknown basically. everyones labor is different. my bf and i are very sexually active 1-3 times a day. and im seriously thinking about putting it off for a while...I'm excited to see my baby girl but getting terrified of labor!

man your moving in motion so jealous i only 1 cm dialated no bloody show or mucous plug which sucks....but dont be terrified its not going to last as long as this pregnancy thats what i tell myself....lol..you can get this far with all the ups and downs your ready..whcih you luck mama keep us in formed

Just a heads up. I think you're thinking of them saying if you are in labor and 4 cm they will keep you there etc. But you can be incredibly dilated and not "in labor". I was at 6cm and walking around, living my life, with NO contractions at all. My friend just had a baby and because of some cervical condition that left her very stretch from her last birth, she was 8-9cm dilated and NOT in labor. The nurses couldn't believe it. they said if she had been in labor they would have been telling her she could start pushing soon...but instead they waited until she started on her own. So no worries! A 3 is great because it means your body is moving in the right direction. And it's definitely possible that you could go into labor soon, but it's certainly not a guarantee. Good luck regardless!

i automatically thought once u hit 4 ur body starts labor
im in no pain right now so i probally wont be until about 6 or so

yea thats true 9 months is a LONGGGGGGG time lol
i feel like i've been pregnant forever

i went to l&d thursday and was three but wasnt dialating anymore i was still having contractions on sat. and they were getting stronger so i wrnt in again nomore dialation tho. i was like wth....so i went home and sun. morning i had alot of bloody show..but havnt had any contrations i dont know what shes doing i there but i wish she.would make up her mind wether she was coming or not lol...i have a dr. appt tomarrow im hoping they check me and say u need to go over to l&d
