migraines

i woke up sunday morning with the worst migraine of my fucking life. i took davacet and i didnt do squat. so at 10pm i ended up going to the ER. they gave me 2 doses of dalatin(SP?) and send me home. 2 hours after getting home it came back worse than when i was even in the ER. so i went back around 6pm. this time they gave me 3 doses, prescription for percoset since it helped in the past, and a referal for a neurologist.
i took the percoset today and it helped a lil bit, but i still have a terrible migraine. what do you ladies do for yours? besides lay in a dark room?

That's what my husband was on for his.

I have only ever had two in my life (one when I quit smoking cold turkey and the other started during a final exam), so I never really got past caffiene, naproxen and a dark room.

Chamomile tea
lavender lotion
dark room
sleep
no noise
dont wear earrings or a headband (dont need pressure on your head)
take out your contacts
take your hair down- a pony tail adds pressure

and just relax.
