re: Tylenol while pregnant

As an OB nurse i can tell you Tylenol is fine to take while pregnant - either the extra strength or the regular is fine. Just make sure you never take Pepto Bismol, Ibuprofen (advil or motrin), nuprin or avleve. Any cough drops are OK and sutafed and dimetapp are ok for colds. For Heartburn the following are approved sodium free antacids (like tums) Gaviscon, Maalox, Mylanta and Gelusil. Colace is ok to take for constipation
