thanks! yeah, he is doing good with it now. I had him PTd about 6 months ago, but then the baby was born (4 months ago) and my milk came in, etc. etc., so we had to go back to diapers part-time for awhile.

i need to do a quick vent.
i have been talking about getting a moby or wrap of some sort for this baby, because my ergo doesn't have the newborn thingy inside and it hurts my back if i wear it for long periods of time with my ruptured spinal disk. so i heard that wraps are more back-friendly and thought i'd use that then.
SIL knows that.
she has gotten a smurfload of baby stuff from us, a carrier, clothes, shoes, toys. all for free PLUS we paid for the shipping which was another $30!
now her daughter doesn't like baby wearing and she has a sleepy wrap.
i heard good things about it and mentioned to her how i was looking to get one.
and she starts talking about how great it is, but that her DD doesn't like it anymore so she will sell it...
they have given us nothing. not for christmas, not for DD's birthday.
one thing that i would need that she has and doesn't use and she isn't willing to give it to us....
considering she owes DH thousands of dollars you would think that she might offer to send it to us. its not like it will cost a lot to ship over here...

i know its silly to be upset about this, i mean it IS her stuff and she can do as she wants to, but i keep sending her toys and clothes and shoes from my daughter and pay for all that and she doesn't really thank us and has never made any effort in paying us back that money she owes...blah pointless vent....
i am going to stop sending her DD's stuff from now on too...

not directly, i was kind of wanting for her to offer it  
i hinted etc. but she kept talking about how she is going to sell it.

I would ask her directly if you could have it and then stop talking to her. Or ask if you could "borrow" it. lol

i just sent her a message...i am about 98% sure she will not give it to us, not for free anyways.

she said last week she doesnt use it anymore because her DD hates it now.
her response was that she is going to "test-drive" it today and asked why i was asking...
i said that i have been looking to get one and if it would be possible for her to send it my way if she doesnt use it anymore.
her response - if MIL will send it out sure, she doesnt have money to mail stuff...

which basically means, she doesnt want me to have it, her mom would send it out, but the way she wrote it means no, but looking for a nice excuse to wrap it up...she isnt going to ask MIL to mail it.
i am thinking about texting MIL asking if she would mail it out for me. LOL

yea i know. i can promise you that she will say that...
i messaged back with "i am sure she would mail it for us. if you want i can ask her?"
i am trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but i can promise you she will say that her DD suddenly loves the wrap again.

Oh wow! Yeah I would stop sending her stuff. That's not right of her to not even say Thanks! My cousin did the same for our other cousin's son. He would give them tons of his older sons stuff and they not once said Thanks or acted like they cared. So now he doesn't give them anything and instead gives it to me and my Brother. Some people just take things for granted, I am sorry she's one of them.

Crossing my all that she doesn't back out and you get it!! After this though I would no longer send her stuff. She could at least say "Thanks for all the stuff, it will come in handy" Not that hard to do! I would just send her DD something for Christmas and her B-day, but that's it.
