question about hcg levels

i am 5w6d and i went and got bloodwork done wednesday and today (friday). my hcg levels on wednesday were fine and when i got the rsults back from today, they increased but just not as much as they should have. the doctor said that it could be because of two different machines checking the blood or a possible miscarriage. has anyone else ever had a problem with their hcg levels not going up as much as they should?

In 1999 I had the same circumstance. I'm sorry to say that in my case I ended up miscarrying. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

When I misscarried my HCG levels rose but not as much as they should have. I hope and pray that your baby is fine. God Bless

During this pregnancy my HCG levels weren't rising much in the beginning. I'm now fourteen weeks and their off the charts. Above what they should be and the baby is fine and healthy. Just went to the doc yesterday. I'm praying for you.

When I had that problem. We found the pregnancy was ectopic. I will pray that yours pulls through.

my hcg levels dropped drastically when I lost my last baby..... with my first two pregnancies, I didn't have any prenatal care, and by the chance i was able to see the doctor, it was too late........ I'm praying for you and your little one!
