I see a lot of the times people show up here after googling something, finding a thread here and responding.

I want to create a list of Parents on this site with Children who have disorders, or parents with Disorders themselves. So other parents in need can find support!

i suffer from bi-polar disorder and was just diagnosed last week. does that count to the list?

Averie has, Kidney Reflux. Its treatable though.
And she was born with a Strabismus.

Me, I have "Adult Onset Still's disease" There is not a cure for it.

Idk if it counts bc it's not my child, but my 3 year old niece (who is basically like my other child) has Acute Lymphnoblastic Leukemia.

And I have Menieres disease. (pretty much vertigo) However, I don't consider it serious.

just wanted to add, that my best friend has a daughter with down syndrome and i think it is great of you to have a post like this!!!!!

You can add me to the list. I don't have a child with any disorders. But my sister who is 18 has multiple things wrong with her. She is michalcephalic (head is smaller in porportion to her body) seizures, tumor on right side of brain. I can help out some moms dealing with the same thing. Also I worked at a camp (Louisiana Lions Camp) for the mentally challenged, physically challenged and diabetic youth of Louisiana. I worked there for 4 summers. I know my stuff and would love to help out mommmies.

It's a pain in the ass lol.
My Dr. said that my 'attacks' come from too much salt intake and/or too much stress.
Well I love me some salt AND it's completely impossible for me toalieviate all of the stress in my life right now lol, so I blame myself!
