Hi, my daughter is 2yrs old & is developmentally delayed & non-verbal. We don't have a diagnosis yet, though she get physical/occupational & speech therapy weekly & she will be re-evaluated for Autism when she turns 3yrs old. She was also born w/ a stage 3 kidney reflux that we'd been battling until she finally had surgery 2mos. before her 2nd birthday....we're now 5mos. post surgery & no more meds, no more infections. She gets routine ultrasounds every 6mos. for now but her urologist says we may be able to eventually go to once every year & then eventually stop them all together. =)

My almost 7 year old son Joshua has Bipolar disorder with anti-social tendencies. He's been on medication for over a year with little improvement. It runs pretty rapid in my family so it wasn't really a shock but it is harder to deal with than I imagined.

Hello. My name is Jacquelynn Blaisse. Ive had three boys and have a surprise on the way. But its complicated. I have a rare degenerative neurological movement disorder called Dystonia. I have storms or episodes that greatly resemble seizures. My brain sends continuous falty signals to the muscles im my body causing them to flex and twist causing my body to twist and contort into awkward positions. I have been suffering from it since i was a teenager but only just found out what it was a couple years ago. It can be genetic in some cases but as far as we know mine is thankfully not passable to my children. Because of poor reasurch funding it is not completely known all the risks involved with pregnancy and. Dystonia. It has never been an easy ride to say the least. In a nutshell, this is pregnancy number nine. Weve had three premies all living at birth, two surviving healthy miracles. I am on bed rest, and about to recieve my third cevical cercloge. Weve made it nearly half way but still have a long way to go. Any prayers would be appreciated. Thank you!

My son Remy was born with cleft lip/palate also he has a slight facial cleft. He was born with multiply skin tags and there are complications with his MRI scan. Gene and Nero Specialist are unable to identify the cause. But are looking into different syndromes that can cause multiple problems.

Sorry but does it count if my child was born with a heart defect but was corrected? Not sure.

I just wanted to let anyone who has a child with hydrocephalus know that I had it as an infant and would gladly answer any questions that I can.
I also have an undiagnosed genetic disorder that they think may be saethre-chotzen syndrome.
If anyone has any questions about about either of these, feel free to message me and I'll give you the best answer I can or try to direct you to a source that can! I know some amazing doctors.
