I am going to PT you as well. It will be nice to have a friend in the same position as myself. I actually see my family doctor on Thursday, and hopefully can move forward from there. I think I may need another referral in order for the rheumy to see me.

I'm doing okay. Thank you for asking. I had a flare-up this passed week. It was around the time my son's birthday party was and then I got Strep throat but luckily the flare-up didn't last long. I think it was the stress that caused it mostly.  
How are you doing? I hope your doctor quickly refers you. My doctor told me the earlier you get treatment, the better to prevent further joint damage. Let me know how it goes.

Oh dang! I am sorry you had to go through that. I am glad to hear that your flare did not last long. That would make things 100 times worse, especially trying to take care of your baby's birthday!

I think we are almost done moving..well, at least done with moving the big stuff. We still have a lot to unpack, though. Glad we have the big stuff done, because I think a flare is coming up. My neck and knees are starting to feel achey, and that usually happens within a few days of a full flare. Do you feel any pain before a full flare hits?

Oh that's good you've got the big stuff outta the way! I hate moving and you never know how much stuff you have until then! lol
Yes, I get really achy before a flare-up and I get hot flashes. I know that's not what they are but it sure feels like it! I get really flushed and it feels like my body is on fire. I think it's because during a flare-up, usually people run a temperature....
I also feel achy before a thunderstorm or during cold weather and especially in the mornings. I use a warmed towel that I wrap around a heated beanbag herbal thingie. (Not sure where mine came from because it was a gift but it looks very similar to this.) I love it because you reheat it in the microwave for a few minutes or you can freeze it. It smells really good from the herbs and relaxes you and your pain 

I have a daughter called nag bag no not really haha its Jessica and she has turner syndrome which only affects girls.

My name is Tanya. My youngest son, Corban, has a tumor in his next. It is not cancerous. We found it when he was 8 weeks old. It grew until he was 9 months. The doctors believe it is a hemangioma but don't know for sure because it is completely under his skin unlike most common hemangiomas. We have been "watching it" for over a year now. I am ready for this tumor to be gone but I am not ready to have my baby cut into.

Hey there , I have been away from a long time but I used to chat in this area a bit due to my one son . Wondering is there a place to discuss kids with Anaphylaxis and life threatening allergies asthma etc?

I haven't seen a thread for something like that, but I can only imagine how hard that would be. Does he have to have an epinephrine shot with him at all time in case he gets stung? I don't know much about it, but it would be scary having to worry about anaphylactic shock all the time!

my daughter has bilateral clubbed feet

I have a 4 year old son with Autism Spectrum disorder, ADHD and when he is old enough they told me he will be diagnosed with ODD. He also suffers from Lead Poisoning from a place we were living which caused most of these "problems" I myself suffer from Bi-polar, borderline personality disorder, poly-substance dependency and social anxiety. My husband has ADHD and bi-polar also
