Yes, I get really achy before a flare-up and I get hot flashes. I know that's not what they are but it sure feels like it! I get really flushed and it feels like my body is on fire. I think it's because during a flare-up, usually people run a temperature....
I also feel achy before a thunderstorm or during cold weather and especially in the mornings. I use a warmed towel that I wrap around a heated beanbag herbal thingie
. (Not sure where mine came from because it was a gift but it looks very similar to this.) I love it because you reheat it in the microwave for a few minutes or you can freeze it. It smells really good from the herbs and relaxes you and your pain
