yeah none of that helps. I've wasted TONS of money on all the stuff thats suppose to work. HG isn't just normal morning sickness  . I just dont want to end up in the hospital again. Even with insurance it gets expensive!!

That sucks! At least in my case I have awesome insurance (perks of being employed by a hospital I think). If I need to be hospitalized for anything it's free!

This is the first time I haven't worked for a hospital or medical facility it sucks. We have united healthcare which is badass insurance all my maternity stuff is covered without copays which is awesome. Just the ER and hospital stays not including delivery are 100 dollar copays a visit or day. I can be in the hospital after I have the baby for however long the doctor feels. The insurance recommends 2 to 3 days and they'll pay for extra if the dr thinks its needed.

Luckily I've almost payed my max deductiable for the year lol

whats the zofran pump????

my damn insurance isnt letting me get a refill on my zofran...they seem to think that 15 pills is good for 24 days

its the most amazing thing ever it hurts but worth it. you put a catheter needle into your thigh and zofran gets pumped into your system subcantaneously 24/7. I was rarely sick on it and you can get extra doses through out the day if you need it. The new NP I went to (since the dr was out of town) is a moron for taking me off of it. I went from a HIGH dose of it in the hospital and from the pump to getting a script for 4 mg every 8-12 hours she is a fucking idiot. She was to concerned about catching her plane for vacation. I am going to have to see a perinatologist to get a pic line or something since I had an allergic reaction to the tape the needle is hooked to and the meds are reacting negatively to my skin. But its so worth it. I miss it so bad!!!!

I throw up everytime I take oral zofran I cant keep it down long enough to work. I'm determined to make it through the weekend I dont want to step in a hospital this holiday weekend!

i only have 4 left in my rx, luckily the pharmacist gave me 6 samples so i am good till the pharmacist can contact my doc so they can tell my insurance i need it

my insurance only allowed 6 days at a time but its not worth taking since I'm on bedrest if I dont move to much I dont throw up. lol

The baby is healthy though and I get another ultrasounds in 2 weeks so I dont mind suckin' it up lol and my husband is suuuuper support he is taking great care of me.
