Did anyone else tear and need stitches? Mine are bugging the crap out of me. I can't take it anymore! How long does it take for them to heal?

i did, back and front(2nd degree), and i was wondering the same thing.

Hey everyone! I hope ya'll had a good 4th of July. My family and I went to Chicago to the Shedd Aquarium. It was surprisingly a great time. The baby had her moments but overall she did great. My son was well behaved too... except when he walked away from my husband to go play like a penguin and we thought we lost him... It was pretty crowded but not obnoxious. We also went for a walk down the lake to Milenium Park to see the infamous bean/cloud thingie. And we were there late enough to catch the fireworkes at Navy Pier. It took us long enough to walk back to the car to avoid all the crazy traffic... whew! What a day! I am recovering today... lol

All the baby pics are great! All the little ones are looking good... growing... all good stuff.

Congrats Rebecca! You FINALLY popped... lol

Thanks guys! We are home now...I can't wait to type up my birth story and post it!

Stitches--I had a 3D tear with DD1 and it took a few weeks (like 3 or 4). This time it was only 2D and it hurts so much less.

morning mamas, hope everyone is doing well and the lil ones are doing wonderful. i have a questing for you, what are you giving your LO for gas? Geoffrey has been dealing with it for a while now and the Pedi wants us to just let it pass(pun intended) on its own. its so hard to see how much pain he's in when he has to let one go or poop. it just breaks my heart to hear him scream or fuss and hear his little tummy make all these noise.  help!

My son has been suffering from gas too lately. I finally went and bought him the Mylicon drops because the gas wasn't easing on its own. It seems to have helped. You might want to try that.

thanks, i've thought about using that but i thought that he was too young for gas drops. thanks again.

I thought the same thing, but when I went out to get it last night it says it can be used in the "newest newborns". It might be worth a shot as they seem to help.

hey ladies...Damien had his 2week check up today he weighs 8lbs and is 20.5in   hes my little piggy lol...he had to get blood drawn today because apparently the 1st time they took it his blood never got tested...he didnt even cry  
his cord fell off last night and the doctor said once its completely healed he can go swimming...we want to go swimming at least once before hubby leaves...heres a few pics of my little cutie
