you might go this weekend, i was stripped on monday, lost my plug on tuesday and had Geoffrey on thursday.

i was asking the same thing, Geoffrey is three weeks old today. seem like i was just pushing him out. 

How are all the mommas feeling?? I can't believe that a week and a day ago I gave birth to my beautiful girl. I am starting to feel normal again. Most of the swelling down there is gone, yay!! All of the swelling in my feet, face and hands is all gone too. I forgot how skinny my ankles actually are. lol I am amazed at how huge my boobs are. I wake up in the morning with my shirt soaked in milk.

Hope you are all doing well and your babies are too.

I was wrong...I wasn't stripped. I asked her today. She just moved stuff around or something, but didn't strip. I'm now 2.5 cm, 70% effaced, -2 station. But she said something about my waters bulging. As much as I'd prefer not to have my water break all over something in my new house, I'd still rather not be induced. My induction is scheduled for Monday at 7:15am.

Something might be happening. Still losing mucus (I'm going to lose 10 pounds just in mucus I think)! But now its tinged with red blood. There was a black clot in it today so I called L&D and they said it was normal. Contractions have been 10 minutes apart all day. They are getting longer though...they were like 15 seconds first thing and now they are up to a minute. So hopefully they don't fizzle and I'll be having a baby tonite!

We got Lane's birth certificate in the mail today - he will be 7 weeks tomorrow.

At my 6 week PP checkup they told me to go to the lab today (they don't actually make appointments, you justshow up)to retake the 3 hour glucose tolerance test (to make sure the diabetes went away). So I carb-loaded for 2 days, then fasted for 12 hours, got my mom to watch the baby, drove to the lab...and it's closed for the holiday. Grrr!

Baby came last night! 10:05 pm. Will post my story when I get home. She's 8lb, 9.5 oz, and 21 inches.

wow, it took a while. i'm sitting here and still waiting for Geoffrey's birth certificate and SS card. i'm trying to add him onto my insurance but they want to see his B C and SSC first. and he has to be added within 30 days of his birth. i'm just going crazy waiting for them.

Did the hospital give you a temporary one that your insurance would accept? When I applied for state services after the kids were born they accepted the copies the hospital gave me.

Yay!! Im so happy for you!! Must have sucked going that far!

i never thought of doing that, i definately will be calling the hospital about that. thanks.
