Hi mommas!! How is everyone's night going? We went to a pre-Fourth of July party night. Kyle had a blast and loved all the attention he was getting from the ladies. All neighbors are having parties now and it has been pretty noisy, but the little man is actually sleeping through it. Cross your fingers that he doesn't wake up because he is so scared. These damn M80 fireworks are scaring the crap out of me.

I heard they are still amazing. I'm so jealous, they were here the same weekend as New Kids On The Block and I had to choose... one of my favorite bands for the past 12ish years (No Doubt), or my obsession from my home state (one town over) for the past 18 years (NKOTB). I couldn't say no to New Kids. LoL.

haha understandable. They are still amazing... Despite the fact that Rock Steady wasn't a very good album in my opinion.

Im so jealous of all you Mama's that make it to your due dates! My pregnancy was very uneventful and I loved being pregnant. No complications for 7 months, then right before I hit 8 months it all went downhill, went for a routine stress test at the hospital, and left 7 days later with a baby. They knocked me out and did a c-section, so I never felt a single contraction or anything. I feel so left out when everyone's like "yay its my due date!" or "what do contractions feel like exactly" because i have NO FREAKING CLUE!  

but anyway... hope she comes soon for ya! im sure you're done w/ the whole pregnancy thing now that you're at 40 weeks!

Hi ladies, my name is Tasha and I've the most amazing toddler named Nika, how are you all doing?

I'm going to copy and paste a little bit from my about me to introduce myself (and Nika) In May of 2007, I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant, this was amidst travelling, working and partying as if there was no tomorrow, and in fact, not caring if there would be a tomorrow.

I was shocked at he fact as I had been on birth control and in a very unsteady, no strings attached, live for the moment relationship. Ensued a pregnancy full of surprises and joys, but I was the only one experiecing them I became a single mother the moment I told my then boyfriend that I was pregnant. I packed my things and left and have never regretted my decision since. She was unplanned but -never- unwanted.

Her father is not in her life, he does help financially and I do thank him for that but I wholeheartedly believe that unless he's willing to commit every weekend and every moment of his spare time to spend with Nika (not me!) than an on/off/sometimes/maybe/not sure relationship is categorically out of the question.
