Miss going to the movies? You may no longer have to! Check out the AMC theater nearest you for baby friendly movie day. The AMC at Stonecrest does it the first tuesday of every month at noon. I am not sure about the other AMC theaters. Proceeds from these tickets go to help the Will Rogers Institute. Baby friendly movie day has stroller parking, a place for breastfeeding moms & crying babies.

i was just wondering if anybody can tell me some signs that the dad isn't going to stick around? he said he is but when we were in the hospital he would stay the night (and only sleep) then get up and leave till way late at night. we have been home for 3 days now and he came over to see him one day and then said he was coming today but waits till 7pm. we are not together. I was just wondering i'm getting mixed signals from him.. he doesnt want to pay for anything either. always has a reason he cant. PLEASE HELP!

youll still be a single mom i pay less than 1,000$ a year for a private school (20,000$ a yr) the support will count as incomebut unless he makes a ton a ton of money it wont effect the financialaide you are a single mom until you get married

I would file for child support. He's more than likely not going to stick around for long if he's not up your butt to see this kid. And making excuses for why he can't pay for smurf will just continue.

Getting child support is not going to affect your financial aid for school drastically and a lot of states require you to go after the father for child support if you need government aid. They'll require him to provide insurance for the baby if his job provides it also. The state doesn't want to fork over money that the father SHOULD be paying for his child.

BD doesnt have to provide insurance for DD its more than 5% of his income so it not what they say is reasonably priced

That's interesting. I didn't know that. They told BD that he had to provide proof that he carries her on his insurance at work if his work provides it. And he's actually got insurance through his work and never bothered to add her to it.

My baby daddy did the same thing. & so did my best friend's. Sorry hunny but it is highly unlikely he will stick around. You need to take him to court. Legally he has to pay. do it now while u r not able to work (u will get more that way). It's better to get it over with now then down the road when ur baby can start recognizing ppl.

id be pissed im going to look into things because hes got his STEP son on his insurance and it shouldnt cost more to add DD also i got my CS payment!! im soooo happy i got it this weekend!

I am leigha and im going to be a single mommy to a beautiful baby boy names wyatte in about 14 weeks This my first child, im haveing a very hard time with dealing with the fact that my ex fience is being such a ass monkey and is trying to get out of being part of his 2 sons life but he can be all types of involved in his first sons life. how messed up is that.

is there anybody else that is kinda going though the same thing, becasue i really am having a hard tiem and i dont really haave many people to talk to.

I'm a single mom of two. They each have different fathers yet both fathers are dead beats. My son's father has at least 3 other children by two other women that I know of. He doesn't take care of any of them. My daughter's father has a son with his ex wife. His son lives with my ex's step mom and my ex I think sends him $10 a week. Because children only cost $10 a week, right? He sends me $50 a week for my daughter. I wasn't aware that infants only cost that much but apparently they do.  

My advice is to file for child support ASAP after your child is born. It's not your child's fault that your ex is a douche canoe and you shouldn't have to foot 100% of the cost of raising this child when your ex laid down to make this baby too.

My ex Has a two year old son, and he dose everything possible,( but spend time with him cuz work in more important) but he lives on the border of south dakota and his son lives in sd with his mom and he goes up there all the time for his son and spends so much money on his son, and he has to pay like 700 in child support. and when his baby momma was pregnant he help pay about everything for his son even though they were not together while she was pregnant eaither , and it really pisses me off because he paid for me to move back to my home state but i had to sell my car to be able to pay for my sons crib and car seat and more, just because he didnt want to pay any money to buy him anything. Im just getting so annoyed because hes denying wyattes(my sons name) but hes saying hes coming up in feb to watch him be born. and im so annoyed and confused because i cant tell him he cant come up but at the same time, it pisses me off because what has he done to even help get things ready to wyatte he hasnt done anything but all of a sudden he wants to be at his birth. wtf

Well no you can't tell him not to come up but you can sure as hell not let him in the delivery room or even your hospital room after if you so choose. I'd let him know that if he wants to be a part of the birth, he needs to step up as a father and help get ready for him.

see i told him if he don't step up that wyatte wont have his last name, and he didnt step up at all, so its like he really dont care so now wyatte is getting my last name because why would i give him his when he hasnt done anything to do with him so far, and im 25 weeks going on 26 weeks and the times coming and i just dont know what to do, because he is not going to be in the room and is not gonna be left alone with wyatte at all after he is born, my mom said she will make sure of that, but ....ugh its just all confusing. i just really dont know what to do
