Interesting. My uncle's family is AF. My cousin is USMC. My grandfather was Army and my other grandfather was Navy.

They're really starting to restrict who they let in. I stayed married just so I could join, because if you try as a single parent, you have to sign your rights away and then sign another paper saying you won't try to get them back.

Because they don't allow single parents. I can see why they don't, because you have to ready for worldwide deployment at a moments notice. but at the same time, if you have a strong family care plan and people to watch your kid, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to join

Yeah. Like any other job, if you want the job, you do whatever it takes to handle your childcare situation to be available for them.

I left my now husband in dec of 08 bc he was controlling and emotionally abusive I found out I was pregnant jan 09 called him told him he played the most famous line "it's not mine" I had her aug 09 went thru Court for Cs he only seen her one time By the time she was 8 months old when we finally got DNA bck we were on again off again until last sept when we got bck together I got pregnant in October last year we married in may bc he had me fooled that he had changed for good but now that the baby is here he is downgrading and hateful to me and our now 3 yo I'm suffering from ppd bc I'm struggling to raise a 3yo and a 2 month old them waking up one right after another us both being unemployed bills steadily piling up. He is receiving unemployment and is getting pissed bc state is taking out Cs , I refuse to sign case closure forms, bc he is a ticking time bomb he will take off the second i do. He gets mad at every little thing I do or don't do . I don't want to be with him but Im afraid of doin everything alone

Well darlin it sounds like you're doing it on your own anyway. That's a toxic situation for your PPD. Do you have family you can stay with while you get on your feet?

There not really in any situation to take me and two kids in. I kno I could stay with any of them but they only add to my stress.

uh, getting annoyed with this guy I'm seeing. I don't understand him, or know how to read him at all! when I'm with him, or talk to him, things are great. But... he's almost impossible to get ahold of. Rarely responds to texts. The one day I was out and ignored my phone.. had a me day.. he got all upset about me not responding... told me how much he likes hearing from me. Well... then smurfing respond! I hate texting multiple times... I can't have a one way conversation. I backe3d off thinking I was looking like a clingy gf... but then he told me he's used to more attention from someone he's dating.

um.. yea. So am I! We're both VERY busy people... but.. it's nice to stay connnectd via text. Or... when you text.. if you're headed out, or to the gym etc.. let me know so I'm not sitting waiting for a response.

Well after spending time with my family today I go home and my 3 yo falls and possibly has broke her foot my husband blew up on me then started saying he was goin to kill himself even went so far as to pull the gun out and load it I called cops and now he's goin to get impatient care. He had some kind of mental breakdown tonight bc he keeps thing bottles up inside and he couldn't handle it anymore . It's a big relief now I know he can't harm himself or anyone else
