I would join a single moms club!I feel like a black sheep around my married friends so I understand that feeling.

No smurf. That pisses me off! Those old fashioned hags don't know how hard it is to work and raise a child. Most of them were SAHMs when they had children. My own grandparents have made snotty comments.

It bothers me that people assume the worse when your a single mom. I've gotten some snotty comments on here from people telling me it's my fault for picking a deadbeat guy. This all came just from me saying I was a single mom and nothing else. They didn't know my situation or anything and just assumed the worse.

i didn't realize my bd was a dead beat until half way threw my pregnancy! then sometimes he'd prove himself otherwise and id give him another chance.. but i was already so sick of him, him leaving was a relief.. he never even took the time to meet his daughter.. i don't even think he knows her name!

funnier thing is he thinks he left me 12 days ago, when my daughter was 2 days old.. when i ended it three months ago, when he dropped me off at home, and i never saw him again after that!

SO true.. it is NOT us thats the problem its them. I don't see why people expect us to stay with smurffy guys just to avoid the stigma associated with being a single mom. So annoying

I didn't realize it till I told him I was pregnant and he said it wasn't his and he wanted me to get rid of it. We didn't talk after that till I was 5 months pregnant. My daughter will be 8 months on Sunday and he has seen her once for 15 minutes. I'm proud to be a single mom I know that my daughter is better off for it! Plus it's nice to have all her hugs to myself!

what i still cant figure out, is my bd TRIED to get me pregnant, SUCCEDED on getting me pregnant, wants nothing to do with me or the baby, and is now dating someone 13 years older than me, divorced with 4 kids. i mean, cmon. what does she have i dont? oh yeah, a wrecked vagina.   men make no sense to me. only thing theyre good for is what our kids can't give us, and normally we can give it to ourselves betther than they can anyways. hahahahah.
