slow heart rate at six weeks five days

I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound done and they informed me that the babies heart rate was 98. They told me that it was low and I am at a high risk for a miscarriage. Has anyone been through this and everything was fine? What is the normal for seven weeks, which is what I am now?

I think it's anything over 120 and under 180. Not 100% sure though

i had an u/s at 8 weeks and babys heart beat was 141, I'm not sure what the norm is. Have you tried google?

i read an in depth study that showed anything under 100 bpm was about 90% or more miscarriage rate. but that's not 100% so have faith

I never knew all of this before!! At almost 7 weeks, my baby's heart rate was 96. They never said a word to me... so far I am 14 weeks and everything is going well. Last time heart rate was 176.

Yes this happened to me with my last pregnancy. i was due august 18. I was 6 weeks and 2 days and they said my babys heart rate was low too! she never told me what the heart rate was but just said that it wasnt as high as she would like it to be///and yes i ended up losing that baby back in january. i hope u get a better outcome than me, but i just found out i was pregnant again and im praying i dont lose this baby too!

I've heard this happen to a lot of ladies that early in pregnancy. Someone's was as low as 40bpm, then jumped up to like 90bpm a week later, then jumped up to the healthy rate. I wouldn't worry about it, keep faith and I'm sure his/her's little heart willbe beating faster in no time!

I had a similiar issue with my boy at 6.5 weeks, they said his HR was low but also said its questionable at that gestational age.. I'm 36 weeeks now and my BIG BOY is doing great so don't worry until something happens.. Think positive and relax for you and the baby..

myfirst USwas 5w 4d and heart rate was 113. My baby is fine.
