Men are crazy *kind of long*

So I was in a great relationship, super happy, greatest guy ever, I believe he is even to good for me, lol. Well before we even started dating he knew I was going into the military, I leave next Tuesday. We talked about marriage and him coming with me after my tech school is over. Well last Monday out of no where he asks me if I really have to leave, then I realized he didnt want to go, so I asked him and I was right. He is Hispanic (whitest mexican I have ever met, lol) and like most he is a major mamas boy, and he couldnt see himself leaving. I was just like fine, I love you and I would never want you to do anything you didnt want to do. I was completely crushed, because I do love him. Well I told him if I even do leave it wont be for another 14 months, so lets work this out cause we do want to be together. He said no because it would just make it harder in the long run. Again completely crushed. He would call me and text me every day that he missed me and loved me, and we would still go out, pretty much still together just technically not. I finally had enough, I told him I couldnt play that game anymore it was just to hard. I went to church and I had a long talk with God, I asked for him to give me the strength to walk away or guide me in the right direction. Well it took everything I had to not call or text (God gave me that strength) and he called a bunch of times and texted. Finally I answer him and he tells me that realizing that I wouldnt be in his life is not what he wanted, that he didnt care anymore all he wanted was me.     Thank you God, we should talk more often

I hope my situation (certainly not as beautiful or lovely as yours ;) ) works itself out the same... it's so hard sometimes to not be in control of your own situation and to have faith... but you are so lucky! keep him and never let him go! good luck to you both!
