How are you all doing?

I'm just trying to get used to all this.
For some reason I've had massive headaches since I've come home from the hospital and the motrin that was prescribed to me isn't cutting it. I have a call into my OB... I'm nursing so I don't want to take anything that will transfer to baby but I need some relief. I'm sure lack of sleep has something to do with it.

Hubby takes care of older baby and I take care of the newborn. Haley turns 1 tomorrow!!! Her party will be next weekend when MIL and SIL arrive.

Did you have an epi?

I've heard of people getting CRAZY headaches from the epi, but it's super easy to fix.

Yep... I did have a massive one after I had Haley..but it went away. This one is not going away.

Haley smiled and her eyes got so big with interest when I showed her.
Every time she sees him she wants to touch him...more like grab with force so I have to keep them apart. It's good. She's completely curious!

Jeremy went back to work on Monday. I'm thankful he's not getting up at 5am to go and workout. He's missed his workout all week and I didn't even say anything to him for him not to go. Surprised me... He's getting up and checking on Haley if she wakes during the night and I'm with Dillon. I slept in the living room on the couch Tuesday night and at 2am moved myself to the couch. The baby does not like sleeping in his bassinet. He just wants to sleep on me or Haley's vibrating rocker. So that stinks...but what do you do!

Okay. If you do talk to someone in hospital about it, ask about a blood patch. They just need to inject (I think?) some of your own blood into your spine where they did the epi to help the hole close up. If you're leaking spinal fluid from where they put the epi in (pretty common) then it can cause headaches that just won't go away.

We'll be cosleeping with him when he's first born and DD's crib is in our room as well... soo.... could be interesting

Interesting...I'll ask.. I'm going to the hospital with Dillon in an hour because he failed his hearing test in one ear so they need to retest.

I went to read the thread you posted, I got to page 11 and couldnt finish. What is with those girls? I'm sorry they are so closeminded. They are making themselves look bad.

Hi people!

How's everyone doing?

Today has been bad, for my poor baby girl. Ann Marie woke up with a runny nose and is having tummy pain and she is crying when she poops. She has recently increased her solids intake and I think it has been too much for her, so we are going to slack off a bit. Then the 14 month old I watch, bit her, for the 3rd time! He drew blood this time and she had a bit of skin hanging from it, my poor baby. This is my last week watching him, her mom is going to make it in tonight or tomorrow and she can keep him Friday (I am off tomorrow) I told her this morning I could watch him Friday, but after this, I can't do it anymore. She will have to make other arrangements for Friday, it is just to difficult and I can't have this happen again.

You are right! They do that with spinal headaches.. I've never heard of that before. They checked my blood pressure and so on... I have a call into my OB so we'll see what they say.
Dillon passed his hearing test and weighed in at 6 lbs 8 oz. They also looked at his you know what to make sure that looked ok... Poor boy!
He's very dry and peeling all over... Scares me to give him a sponge bath because it will make him more dry. I'll give him one on Saturday...

Hey there guys i had to let yall in on this before i go get Dh. I got a call back from the salon i applied at. I have to go in tomorrow and do a fade for her so she can see where i am on the fades. So ladies i think i got it!
