table foods?

posted 7th May
my pediatrician & i decided a couple of weeks ago to start transitioning my 9.5 month old son into some table foods. he really is not diggin' baby food anymore, lol.

what are some good table foods age appropriate for a 9.5-10 month old? i'd like to get him eating a variety of things.

so far, we've tried:
-toast
-boiled egg yolks
-yogurt
-trying cheese bits tomorrow
-pasta (without tomato sauce)
-green beans, peas, broccoli, carrots
& he's been eating gerber puffs, wagon wheels, mum mums, biter biscuits, etc. for a while.

any other suggestions? thanks in advance!

How long you waiting to introduce meats??
Ever since I introduced cheese's, meats and fresh fruits (not mashed up) Emmie's been really like excited about eating and going for the spoon rather than just being whatever.
She still doesn't eat a TON but I can tell she likes it.

eh, i'm staying away from the gerber graduates. the puffs & other snacks are processed enough.

like I can make basic things such as spaghetti, and what not but I need to learn healthy cooking ha ha

well, i was thinking i'd try some chicken within the next couple of days. i'm going to the store tomorrow for him, which is why i was looking for ideas! lol.

he eats it all just with his fingers now though, he HATES the spoon...so i'll probably boil the chicken & do tiny strips? i dunno. lol, i don't want his food variety to be boring...but i'm so terrified of food allergies, haha.

i saw you posted about emmie eating potatoes...i might get some of those at the store...definitely some chicken, too. when it has to be soft finger foods, it narrows it down a lot.   haha
