You know thats so true. I used to drink dr.peppers like everyday. Then in may i just decided no more cokes for me. And I havent cheated at all. One day I had the urge to drink one and I took a sip of my SO's and blah it just didnt taste the same to me. Im going to have to give myself at least a good month of not eating the bad crap and I think maybe then I wont crave it anymore

I only jog on the beach on leg days at the gym, because leg days are brutal for me. Upper body days I do the stairclimber at the gym and jump rope.

Is there a speed on your stair climber? I've been doing the stairclimber for 30 minutes on a fat burning option. It goes between 30 and 55 speed. I don't know if that means anything to you, but 55 is kinda the top I can go foran extended period of time. Just wondering what speed you use or if you do a manual option and change the speed yourself.

Do you use the stairclimber or the stairmaster? The stairclimber is the one with the actual rotating steps and the stairmaster is just more of a stepper machine. The stairclimber at our gym has a speed from 1-20 and different options like fat burner, fat burner plus, aerobic training, endurance training, etc. I use the aerobic training option and get up to a speed of 12-13 on the stairclimber. On the stairmaster I can get to the highest of 20.

I guess I use the stairmaster but sometimes I use the stairclimber. LOL, I didn't know there was a difference... Haha! I just called them both stairclimbers

Yea, the stairclimber (rotating steps) is better than the stairmaster (stepper) it makes you work harder!

Oh yea the stairmaster makes you sweat... but I promise the stairclimber makes you works 10 x's as hard! That's why I cant get as high of a level on the climber as I do on the stepper! The stepper doesn't give you full range of movement of your legs as the climber does. On the stepper I can get to the highest level of 20 and on the climber I can only get to like 12-13.

My gym has a stairclimber but it looks like it was made the year I was born  I'll have to try it. I'm always afraid I'll fall off of it! LOL.

Hey Nicola!,

I was a real junk food addicted until about 1 month ago, my SO lost about 62lbs(in 5 months), and got me motivated to stop eating junk.
I stopped eating pizza EVERYDAY and soda.
all i drink is water now.

Last week thursday is when i really wanted to eat and be healthy.
Im only taking in 1000 cal a day.
but the problem is,
i get really really hungry and have bad headaches because i get so hungry.
what can i do to avoid not being hungry all the time and headaches?
I have a fruit smoothie in the AM
Fruit bar for a snack
Subway sandwhich for lunch
& fish/shrimp/steak/chicken for dinner.
And i only have time to about 30 min of cardio workout

I think the fruit smoothie and fruit bar snack is what's killing your hunger. Fruit is loaded with sugar and carbs, natural sugars but still nonetheless sugar and they're used for energy leaving you feeling hungry. You should eat something that has protein in it, it keeps you fuller longer. Have you tried egg whites and a slice of whole grain toast for breakfast? Egg whites have only I think 20 calories per 1 egg white, so you can have a good 4-5 egg whites. And a slice of whole grain toast is 50 calories I believe, spread a dab of extra virgin olive oil on the toast and there's your breakfast. For a snack after breakfast, have you considered a low cal-low sugar protein bar? And then if you want for a fruit smoothie, or fruit bar snack, you have have that as your afternoon snack, after lunch. And for dinner, is that all you eat? Just protein? No veggie with it, or healthy carb?
