Mmmmmm! I love cereal. I could eat Special K for every meal. I almost always have special k for breakfast and eat it for lunch too if I'm too lazy to make something. LOL

Nicola,
how soon can you work out post partum? if you give birth naturally (vaginaly) My prepregnancy weight was 119 but i've never looked good or toned at all,I had fat in all the wrong places, Ive gained 30 lbs so far during this pregnancy & i have 3wks left so i dont imagine i will gain much more.
I lost 10lbs right before i got pregnant so i was use to everyday cardio (jogging) & eating healthy.. i plan to start walking/jogging asap, but i want to try & get some weight training in for some muscle tone. shouldI start everything all at once?? can you recommend some muscle excersises? is there some i should start asapand some i should do later when im use to it?
Im so determined to look better that before.I know you looked way better than me pre pregnancy but you still inspire me, I think i can look like that one day.
  thanks for your help.

Hey mama. Well, I started out with light exercise at 6 weeks post partum, and I believe it's the same with vaginal and I had a c-section. But also, when you get the OK from your OB at your PP checkup, and usually you can tell when you're ready with your own body. You know your body better than anyone else, even your own doctor. When you get a chance, try to read through this thread, I talk about different exercises. Also, if you can (if you have the time and money), I would invest in a personal trainer, just for a short period like maybe 2 or 3 months so they can get you on the right track and you can learn all the different workouts. Because it is really difficult to explain all the different workouts you can do, it's easier for me to show them. I should make a video of me at the gym for all of you ladies LOL. No, but you can google a lot of different workouts. I also posted a website on here that shows lots of different weight lifting exercises for all the body parts, here it is again..

Oh and to answer your question about starting at the same time, yes I would definitely start all at the same time so this way your stamina and strength will be at the same levels and one isnt further behind than the other.

Hey Nicola
Well i've definately lost some weight. I've been trying my hardest to stick with my morning workouts even though its so hard. Lately I've been cheating on my diet. I dont know whats wrong with me. I just feel unsatisfied with the food im eating. I think I need more of a variety maybe. I usually bring a sandwhich to work which gets old quick but Im sure I can stick to it. What kind of stuff do you eat for dinner?

My meals are kinda boring too, but like I've said previously "eat to live and dont live to eat," ya know? You can google healthy food recipes and stuff like that though, they have health food cook books out there too, you just gotta search for them. For dinner it's usually boneless skinless chicken breast, steak with all the fat trimmed off, a piece of fish like salmon or tilapia, or pork chops with the fat trimmed off, and then the sides are usually a fresh steamed veggie and a small portion of a healthy carb which is either brown rice, wild rice, or a small sweet potato. I have the same repetitve diet everyday, except for weekends when I do the cheating. And I dont cheat every weekend either. My daily diet which I posted in the OP is seriously what I eat every weekday. It's boring, but it keeps me lean.

Well I guess I need to suck it up then!!
My SO can eat whatever he wants and not gain anything so it makes it hard for me. I have 6 more lbs to lose until I get down to my ultimate goal. I know these last few pounds will take ALOT of work. Thanks!

Same thing with Nate, he eats everything in site and loses weight, makes me sick! But I've got to the point that the food he eats is actually a turn off to me. After a week or two of not giving into your cravings, the cravings seem to go away.

I smoked cigs for a long time too and I quit the day I found out I was pregnant, and I still have the urge to light one up every now and then, especially when I drink. The one night I went out about a month ago I was drunk and smoked cigs the whole time and soooo regretted it the next day because my throat hurt for 2 days after that and it fucked my jogs up cuz I couldnt breathe! No more cigs for me, they're gross!
