re: For all the ladies who asked about diet & exercise routines

Quoting mOmOfDJ&Nikolas:“ anything I guess, but I was referring to exercising....do I start with cardio and then move on..or do I just do everything at once?”

Back about 4-5 years ago when I first started getting into the whole working out thing, I had a personal trainer. And he told me that it's important to start everything at once in terms of weight training and cardio. You don't want your body to be a pro at cardio and then weak when it comes to weights. So I'd say start everything to be on the same page as one another. Do 30 minutes of cardio everyday and weights, and it's good to separate body parts on different days too. Make sure to constantly push yourself to the limit too. If something feels 'too light,' move up to a heavier weight. You'll never know what your body is capable of if you don't push yourself.

Thanks, hopefully today can be my first day if my SO doesn't act like a jerk about it....I really need to start eating healthy as well. I'm going to try and follow some of your meal routines.

Of course I do. I was just saying that's what we only need to survive.

For my protein portion I eat a lean piece that's maybe 6-7oz, and my carb serving is either a 1/4 cup of brown rice or a small sweet potato.

Quoting mommy again!{30+}:“ Have you found any problems with breastfeeding?”

Nope. Plus my daughter really only seems interested in the boob in the middle of the night, I have to pretty much trick her onto the boob during the day, she's so distracted by every and any noise it got super annoying so now she drinks formula during the day and booby at bedtime and night. And my breasts are FULL all day long.

Well I havent started to take fat burners yet because I'm still breastfeeding but I do have some in the med cabinet waiting to be taken, they're made by the company that my SO works for. They're called VPX Meltdown, and they're supposed to be "clinically the best" on the market today. Google it and do some research to see if it is the right choice for you.

Splenda is only 98 percent natural. The other 2 percent of it contains small ammounts of heavy metals, methanol, and arsenic, YES arsenic. It is very bad for you. Not trying to sound like a know it all, just trying to let you know. I used to eat it all of the time.

ETA... Just thought you might want to know cuz I think you're nursing and i'm really careful about that stuff getting into Silas through my milk so I was upset when I found that out. I ate it while I was pregnant.

Hey this is a great post. Thanks so much for takin out ur time to help us ladies out.  Before I came out preg. I got on the South Beach Diet and I had lost 10 pounds in like 2 1/2 weeks and even after I got pregnant my weight didn't come right back after like 3 months.  Your typical day of eating sounds alot like the South Beach Diet. I am DEF. gettin back on it once I give birth.  For those of u who don't really kno how to eat healthy or what to eat daily, i Def. recommend following the south beach diet.It gives u a menu to plan ur meals for the whole day.  My SO got on it with me and he lost a lil over 20 in da time we were on it, which wasnt too long since I came out preg. right afta! lmao He is dying to get back on it since he's gainin weight with me lmao

Yea I was aware of that. Kenzie is actually taking formula during the day and only nurses at night now. It was just getting aggravating with her, anytime I would put her on the boob she would get distracted by any little sound and if I tried giving her the boob again she didnt want it. So I finally found a formula that she likes, thank god! And I think you need lots more than just 1 packet of splenda a day to actually get poisoned by it, no?

Yea it really is a great help when you and your SO both eat healthy together. It sucks having to eat super healthy and then your SO eats like shit. My man however can eat whatever the hell he wants and not gain a pound, I HATE that! But he needs to eat a lot or else he loses weight, isn't that sick?! Makes me so angry lol. I have the fat girl genes and he has the skinny boy genes... gggrrrr!!
