if you go into early labor with a cerclage

is that super bad?

I am pretty sure that if you are term they will just take the cerclage out. As for preterm labor..... I don't know.... Hospital bed rest I suppose

My friend has an incompetent cervix and had to have a cerclage put in at like, 3 months and was on strict bedrest the entire time. They finally took it out at 37 weeks and she went into labor 3 days later.

Well I'd imagine so. It's bad to go into preterm labor period. Just imagine going into PTL when your cervix is already weak.

well i posted early that i had a very small amount of bleeding
and a few contractions but i think they were just braxton hick

[im 26 1/2 weeks]
but i have a cerclage and got it put in at 17 weeks becuase my cervix was just below what my ob wanted so it was more precautionary than anything else
but im just worried.

Have you been checked out by your dr for the bleeding? If not you need to go to the ER and be checked. I have a cerclage and I am on bed rest and they have me on progestrone shots to lessen my chances of PTL.

im only 16 and dont have my license
andmy parents dont seem to be worried at all

if you read in my other post my mom did call the doctor though
but the nurse wanted me to call back , but i was in school so i couldnt and now there closed

As I said in your last post, they have a nurses hotline at the hospital.

Well....the amount of blood you had is not much. Try walking around when you feel contraction like pains. If they stop its prolly BH. You could have broke a blood vessel in your vagina that caused that blood. Everything down there is more sensitve and there is more blood in that area. If you have any more bleeding and they won't take you call an ambulance. I don't think it is but you could be tearing....but with that small amount of blood I doubt it.

Not the point. You need to call them and let them know. If it's serious enough, your parents will take you in. It sounds like your making excuses to not call, to be honest. Just because your calling them, doesn't mean they are going to tell you to come in. But it's always "just in case". Especially now since you said you have an incompetent cervix.

It sounds like nothing, but you just never know. It doesn't hurt to let them know what's going on.

yeah i was wondering about that
but i havent notice any more blood
just random contractions
like ill have 2 or 3 that are timeable but then they stop
then like they will come back

Yeah I go in for any little pain. I was having lig pains and told my dr yesterday (they had just started the night b4) and was like, "If I hadn't had my appt today I would have went to the ER just to be sure." He pretty much said good. When you have IC there is no playing around with time when you have pain or bleeding.
