mirena question

i've had mirena for 2months now, and my period only lasts about 1, maybe 2 days, but the rest of the month, i have constant brownish discharge... like when you're at the end of your period. i'm trying to find a new obgyn, but i'm in school AND i work, so it's tough (i almost killed my last obgyn for leaving me in the waiting room for over an hour and then another hour with a crying baby in the examination room when i went to have the mirena checked... so i walked the hell out and haven't been back)

so is this normal? does it just take a few months for the discharge to stop? or do i need to go get this stupid thing yanked out? cuz seriously, i'm going broke buying panty liners.

its normal. Dont worry, that lasted 7 months for me.

Same for me.  Ive been spotting for the last two weeks and Im freaking tired of it.  And the freaking headaches.  I just want to scream.  Im tired of telling my kids "Not right now, I have a headache."  Im pretty much taking pills all the time to keep them from turning into full blown migraines.  God, no BC is good for me.  The pill made me loose hair.  Gobs and Gobs of hair.  And now this.... ugh.

I spotted the first day I got it.
About 4-5 days later I bled for about 8-10 days and then didnt bleed the whole year I had it..No spotting,Nothing.

Totally normal. mine went away after like 3 months and I havent bled since.

Yea... it stopped, i dospot rarely though. But thats not a big deal. since its sooo light.
