I have a two year old boy. he is awesome. He is so much fun. Youre gonna love it!

Boys do indeed rock, and they are right, it WILL come naturally! Don't worry about it, often I have found stores are a little biased towards pink frilly things, but keep looking and you'll find stuff you like!

I have three boys, I think I would be the same way if I found out that I was having a girl. It really does come naturally, you know where to find me if you have any questions.

I have a wondeful boy he has been so easy to raise, not to say it is not diff. than being a woman. However, just love him and everything else will fall into place. My sons dad and I broke up and then I was alone and I did fine with my son, just the two of us...for a while. I think this is prob. more about the hubby walking out than you having a boy, because a baby is a baby. Thats a lot of stress to be dealing with when you have two kids and a baby on the way.
As far as boy clothes, they dont need anything special for the first three months anyway. I had lots of adorable baby clothes for my son from childrensplace outlet, old navy and old navy outlet, babygap outlet. Seriously check out the outlets near your home. Also old navy is super cheap and they have wonderful clothes, so does walmart. I still get my son items from all of those places and people always tell me how adorable he looks.
But seriously, you need to address the issue of the husband leaving, thats the deeper problem.
Good luck.

I know where you are coming from. We just had a son on Nov. 8th. We have a almost 5 yo daughter, she was easy. I had no idea how to care for the boy parts. I was so afraid, and still am, that I will hurt him accidently, you have to move all the boy parts to clean him right. And then you have a good chance of getting peed on, lol. Someone on e-bay is selling something called pee-pee cones in the baby section, I'm going to invest in them, lol. Anyway, it's not much different so far then my daughter was. It'll come to you, like everyone else said. Good luck!! You'll do fine!!

I have 2 boys and I am having another. A place to find cute boy clothes is also Target and both JCpennys and Sears! It is hard to find cute infant boy clothes though. It is alot easier when they are out of newborn stuff!!! If you need any advice you can email me brighteyez13@yahoo.com

I'M FREAKING OUT ABOUT THE CIRCUMCISION AND CARING FOR THE PEEPEE! MY HUSBAND WANTS HIM CIRCUMSIZED, BUT I KEEP THINKING I'M GOING TO BE THE ONE CARING FOR IT. I'M GOING TO BE THE ONE TENDING TO IT IF IT GETS INFECTED! AWWWW! I KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF GIRLS. I WANTED A BOY SO BAD, NOW I'M FREAKING OUT. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?

I just had my first son... And i was petrifyed because all i have is neices.. i know how to take care of girl babies.. i know how to play with them and what they like and just everything like that.. especially since im a girl i was just more relaxed with them.. and i was always shopping and never finding anything i liked for him.. but now that he's here its been a complete 180.. i love having a boy.. its going to be soo much fun with all the sports and gettin dirty and just running around and being active... I was worried also about the circumcison.. we got Kian circumsized because his daddy is.. I couldnt' touch it or look at it for the first day or two becuase i was soo scared i was going to hurt it or something because it was bruised and stuff...but then i was fine with it.. It was healed right away and the bell fell off within a few days and everything was fine!! I understand the discomfort due to the fact that since we arn't male.. we dont know how to take care of their body better then they doo.. I just asked my brother or my hubby or anyone.. my mom even.. it got easier in time but i wouldn't change it for the world.,.. but the stress up to it.. didn't make anything easier.. just talk to anyone that has boys.. that what made it ease off my mind better Good luck and congradulations for gettin you boy! They are such a joy!

I AM GOING TO BE INDUCED 2 WEEKS FROM TODAY. SO I HAVE 2 WEEKS TO "GET OVER IT". I'M STILL FREAKING OUT! I DECIDED TO DO HIS ROOM IN BABY GIRAFFE DECOR, IT WAS THE ONLY THING I COULD FIND FOR BOYS THAT I LIKED. HIS DAD STILL ISN'T COMING AROUND MUCH, BUT WHEN HE DOES AND I ASK HIM ABOUT THE DIVORCE HE GETS MAD. HE GOT MAD AT ME A FEW DAYS AGO BECAUSE I MENTIONED THAT TRYSTAN IS GOING TO HAVE MY LAST NAME. HE WAS SO MAD!!! I'M THE ONE THAT'S GOING TO BE CARING FOR HIM AND NURSING HIM, AND SQEEZING HIM OUT!!! AHHHHH, MEN ARE SUCH TARDS!!!

You have every right to be freaking out, I would think it's very tough try to imagine how I would raise a lil man if I was angry and hurt with the adult versions. At least you have a great forum here to laugh and cry and vent and freak!

i would assume boys are pretty much just like raising girls except when they get older they will get dirtier and hurt themselves a lot more. its just a boy thing.
my fiance has a 3 year old boy and he's just like any stereotypical boy. he loves cars and trucks. he loves his little fake tool set. he also loves his little guitar and drum set. he's always doing things like bumping his head and hitting his leg but as soon as we kiss it the pain just magically disappears LoL
i wouldn't freak out too much. you may not be a boy but i'm sure you've known plenty of boys in your life. you can just think back and go off that knowledge.

I was freaked out about that too. His doctor will show you how to take care of it though and it heals pretty quickly. And you WILL get peed on, no questions asked. lol I guess you just get used to it. They don't do it for long though. Once the circumsion is healed and the belly button thing falls off then diaper changes are quicker and they don't pee on you anymore cause you can do it quicker. Anyways, you will be great. Boys are easy!!
