I am pregnant...again....and scared out of my mind. We also moved so I have to explain the HG to a new midwife....and hope she is as aggressive as I am going to need her.....I am hoping that I don't get as sick   ..but getting naseaus on and off but no puking yet

I well tell you I think the lord heard my plea because I have not even puked once and by this time last pregnancy I had my picc line in...so comparing my last pregnancy I am doing amazing! I am hoping this means girl because it was my boys that made me super sick. So to you other girls keep your head up the next one might not be as bad! ...thanks for asking btw

Yes! My LO had Colic for the first couple of months. I dont know that it had anything to do with HG cause my other children didnt have colic.

Congrats on having your LO!!

I'm just so curious to see if it's related... She was also to weeks early cuz I had to be induced.. Ive heard that one who have ad there LOs early .. That there Los ave the colic as well.. I hope this gets better soon the poor girl!! And thx!!! I hope u r doing well

my 4th pregnancy I have not had HG. I was nauseous but didnt throw up except a few times! AND in the morning, I usually throw up in the morning but even that has been much less with this baby than my previous 3. I have had 3 girls and I swear this ones a boy because I cant explain it any other way lol.

Did any of you help with the UCLA research?
what do you think about this being genetic? do any of you have family that have experienced HG as well?

Hi ladies! I am cursed with HG also. I don't have insurance yet so I kind of have to suffer through it but my dr has had me in and out of the hospital ever few days to at least keep me from getting so bad. I am waiting for Medicaid to go through so I can try Zophran. At my appointment a week ish ago I had lost 15 pounds in a month. Dr sends me to the hospital because medicaid will cover the bill when it goes into effect but I can't afford Zophran and phenegren makes me way too slept to function with my two kids and reglan doesn't work anymore.

Basically I get as much ginger in me as I can and it doesn't help but mentally makes me feel like I am trying.

I know how that goes sorry your going through that xoxo .. that's one big reason why I want to try to keep working bc of my insurance. my last pregnancy I didn't get insurance until close to giving birth. I had to for everything and zofran is so expensive so I could only get so much! I hope you get it soon! the long process is ridiculous

Yeah I am not attached to this pregnancy yet cause I am scared it won't last.

I called and they said I should hear something soon! My dr is being great and working with me but idk how long it can last.

I have not been on this page in a long time however I did participate in the UCLA research. I am not so sure on the genetic part. Not a female soul in my family has every had more then a couple days of nausea or nothing at all. All of my pregnancies have been HG

My maternal grandmother and aunt have both had HG. Ive had it with 3 out of my 4 pregnancies.
