Yeah I understand. Do you think I should repoll and see if people wnt to keep this book or go with the runner up. More people are opting out of this book versus joining the reading of it

That works. I'll keep the book, since it did win the vote. I hope enough people join the discussion. I hate the fact that so many people don't want to read it, it won the vote.

Probably. I voted the Historian. That's why I was considering changing the book. But I'll stick with it and post questions in a week.

Not sure if it matters to anyone, but here's my reason for opting out this month.

I don't mind exposing myself to different genres, if it's something I feel I'll be even remotely interested in. I've not read any books by this author, but I have looked into her books and read descriptions of the books on her website, and the stories do not look like something I would enjoy, even remotely. Since I have a phobia of library books, I'd have to buy the book (reading a book on the computer gives me a headache and I can't take my laptop into the bath, heh), and I'm not willing to pay money for a book I'm pretty positive I'm not going to like simply because of the subject matter, no matter how well it may or may not be written.

While I cannot force you to read a Jodi Picoult book and I understand not buying something that you would not be interested in, I have to express my sincere desire for you to try atleast one of her books.

Based on your viewpoints on many topics, I truly believe that you would love her writing style. I can't say that My Sisters Keeper is her best book, in fact, its one that I started with, but not my favorite at all, I would highly suggest reading Perfect Match, The Pact, Change of Heart, or 19 Minutes.

I would be willing to buy you a copy, C, just to see if I am correct in my assumption that you will love her as I do. lol

I am such a nuisance.

lol I don't want you to judge Jodi by My Sisters Keeper, though. lol It is a great book, don't get me wrong. I, however, know your logic skills and think you will find many flaws with it.

Hmmm...which one is the best to start with...I don't know...I am going to have to think about this. Once you are in, you are hooked, I promise!
