F U Army (vent)

I HATE the army right now. Hubby is away for a month and I'm all alone with a 2 month old. I'm super stressed and I can't talk to him because he has "gone dark". I HATE THE ARMY RIGHT NOW!!!! Ok, I feel better

mines leaving for ntc about two weeks after our baby is born, and deployin at three months after.. and right now he is gone to "the field" for 7 days... the stupid thing is they are sleeping barracks like maybe an hour away.. wtf.. how is that in "the field"... stupid... i agree i love the health inscurace but some times i just look at him and ask if he doesn't just want to run to cananda!

I know how you feel, last year my husband deployed when my son was 2 months old, this year he deployed again when my son was 14 months old

They did that all the time while I was pregnant. They would be right out of the back gate but wouldn't be able to come home at night.

and i cant' get in touch with him.. and if somthing went wrong.. or i just had to go in the er for fluids .. anything he wouldn't know.. im gonna get his sergants numbers and the people over them too.. so that if something goes really wrong over the next few months i can get in touch and someone can tell him to come back

Mine is deploying about a month after Damien is born  
and the army gave us an apt on the 2nd story so we cant have a fenced in yard so we have to walk the dogs instead of just letting them play in a yard...how the hell am i supposed to walk 2dogs and watch a newborn at the same time??

aww mine just got back from ntc, he was gone all february [while i was on bed rest] and it wasnt even for his unit, they were op-force! now he is ON THE FIELD as well [we live 5 min from base...]... and deploying aug 26th when our girl is due sept 8th, but she is predicted to come around 34-37 weeks.. so he wont leave with them or until she is "out of risk" but still... i totally want to go UA sometimes when i stop and think, omg 3 1/2 more years of this? and were already on his second tour... damn army men .. hes lucky he looks so good in his uniform...

you should most def have contact numbers for his sgts...i do and his sgts personally told me if i have any problems whatsoever to call and they will take me to the hospital if i cant get there and make sure hubby is there within an hour or less

i know how you feel girl. My Hubby don't come back from NTC till the 15th of next month, and he just came back from being in NTC for a month 3 weeks ago. Then he deploys a month after I have our baby girl. It sucks... and I'm not familiar with Washington that much so it's not like I go out and do anything while he's gone.

yeah i kinda hate being here. fort lewis sucks. i know like.. 5 people here. cant really go anywhere because of "restrictions" and seriously the only good thing about hubby deploying is i get to move home to michigan
