sick kiddo advice

OK - here's the scoop. Tuesday morning at 4am, DD woke up with a headache, temp was 100.8 so she stayed home from school that day. Never acted sick, played outside that night. Wednesday morning, temped at 100.6, stayed home again, still nothing but a headache. Around noon she was running around like a crazy kid, but still had slight fever, so I called the doc. Sayd to bring her in, and the diagnosis is a possible beginning of a sinus infection ( her cheeks don't hurt, just forehead and there was some red swelling in nose)
OK, so this is the dilemma. School don't want her there with 100+, but she don't feel sick, just a slight headache, BUT her temp ws 102 this morning. Do I make her go?

I would keep her home, if she starts feeling yucky at school then they will just send her home anyway, especially knowing she has a fever.

I agree if she has a fever still keep her home. I think the school would want her to go 24 hours without having a fever before you send her back to school at least that's how my son's school is. There's been a few times I've sent him to school and was ify on whether he should go or not and for sure school calls say he's not feeling well to come pick him up. Get him home and he acts like he's not sick at all.

Thanks ladies. I called the school too, and needless to say I have a very hyper 5 year old girl begging to play outside laying on the couch   Doc called in antibiotics for her, so hopefully Monday will look better.
