Anyone use Parents Choice Formula?

posted 19th Apr
I am recovering from pneumonia which left me unable to breastfeed our 6 month old anymore.

I was wondering about baby formula. He has been drinking Enfamil with Lipil (yellow can) for the last two weeks. I saw a walmart brand formula where you get about 2X as much for less money. Anyone use this Parents Choice? Is it really as healthy and nutritious as the Enfamil? I don't want to compromise his well being to save a few dollars. Just wondering if it really is as good as the name brand.

What do you think?

Target sells a store brand that is essentially the same as Enfamil Lipil for the same price as the parent's choice. I think once I do switch over to formula I will use the target brand since I compared the cans and it is almost identical.

It's the same. It's against the law to sell generic food and health products that are sub par. They have the same stuff in them, you're only paying for the NAME. Everything else is the same.

I breastfeed, but at WIC they said that if for any reason I would need to give the baby formula I could give him Parent's Choice because it is just as healthy but way cheaper.

I buy Parent's Choice whenever we run out of WIC Similac Advance. It's compared to brands like Similac, so it's perfectly fine. I love how much formula you can get for cheaper than what you'd get from Similac.

If you read the label of the PC can, there are actually comparisons of PC, Enfamil and Similac straight on the back. It's the same, and in some cases, better!

i use parents choice soy, i was afraid at first so i asked my pedi and he said since they are all regulated by like the fda that they have to have all the same ingredients, kay didn't like the similac soy so i tried enfamil, which was fine for her, but i was at the store and noticed the parent's choice was like 11 dollars cheaper. She likes it, i'm getting a break on price.. i love it

Ive heard of alot of women using Parents Choice. They cant give out formula unless its approved by the FDA. Which approves all the other formula. Some people get iffy about it because its the "cheep" brand or w/e and its not named brand. But i would of tried it if she want on wic and getting enfamil already. But like any formula your baby might not take well to it and youll have to switch anyway.
