Solid food Question...

my son is 5 months old, ive had him on cereal twice a day for a little over a month now, just recently i started introducing veggies and fruits, i would like to get him on a "solid food shedule", i know formula is still his main dish but im so confused when it comes to giving him his veggies and such, at what age did you start putting your baby on solids along with a fedding plan? sorry if this post is confusing, but im confused at the moment lol.

im kinda having the same confusion. my baby is about to be 5 months she has been on ceral mixed with the fruits cus she wouldnt take the ceral for about a month. so im watching.

I kind of followed Aidan's lead... at 4 months he started cereal, at 5 months he had a stage 1 veggie for lunch and cereal at night, and then at 6 months we switched it up to cereal for breakfast with a fruit, a stage 2 veggie for lunch, and either a stage 2 veggie and half of a meat for dinner or a stage 2 "meal" for dinner... and of course he was still getting about 6-8 ozs of formula every 3 hours, even still waking up at night. Kid's a bottomless pit, I swear...

I just started my son on baby food and he's a little over 5 months...
I feed him a container of food throughout the day, in the morning I just give him formula and then at his noon feeding I give him veggies. He won't finish the whole thing, so I just finish feeding it to him at around 4 and then after that I just feed him formula.

My son's not old enough, but a friend told me about the sample menus on Gerber's site....maybe it will give you an idea....
