Breastfeeding break question

Okay, so... I've been BFing for 8 months and not a day has gone by that I haven't BF. My supply is perfect for her, I'm never engorged or dry. I will be away from her for the first time for 3 days. My cousin said she dried up when she went on a cruise for 3 days. Will my milk dry up? Alexis has formula when I'm working, but it's only supplementing for when I'm away. Will she have a hard time having formula only?? Omg, someone please help!

You may have to supplement while you're gone. To make sure your milk does not dry up you should pump while you are on vaca. That way your body will think you still need to produce the milk. It doesn't matter that you only get out an ounce.
