i will be 36 wks tomorrow ad i have nothing

Im almost 36 wks and I just bought a thing of diapers and wipes ond more cloths and just some small stuff because im getting worried that I might go into labor early. I still dont have a car seat or a crib. Im scared beause im so close to my due date now and im not ready for the baby to come. i have a nice crib picked out but I cant afford it. I want my baby to have nice things but time is running out and I dont have the money...I hope every thing will be ok.

alot of hospitals donate carseats...as do health departments...

you're gonna need the car seat or they wont let you take the baby home, can you get maybe a cheap bassinette for the baby to sleep in?? Can your parents help out any?

just get whatever you can now, and everything else will get later, like everything most important that your baby will need

The car seat is a must right now..
The crib can wait a while as long as you get a bassinet or something..

If it wasn't for my baby shower coming up a week from today I'd be really worried, but I know that my mom bought a travel system and my grandparents a real crib... I honestly wouldn't be able to afford those things if I had to buy them myself. I'm excited to see what else I end up getting...I am not sure how much extra I'll be able to buy before he gets here

get a car seat. You want the best for your baby but you cant do that right now so get your baby some more basic needs. I hope you know with a newborn that pack of diapers is not going to last 4 days? You really need to get it together, even if you have to get the cheaper crib. Im sorry I am not rich at all but I have more than you and I am nine weeks.

I have a baby shower comming up on the 25th but I dont have anyone who is going to by me anything big. my rand parents are all gone. my mom was adopted so i only have my dads side. And only my aunt is going to come. some people tell me to just let my baby sleep in the car seat until i can get a crib but i wont do that.

It's not good for their back to let them sleep in the car seat.. That's what Logan's doctor said at least.
You're just gunna have to suck it up and buy something less expensive. Your baby needs somewhere to sleep.

Yea, I agree you should have been buying things for your baby your whole pregnancy even if they were just the basic small things I am not rich and i work full time up until bedrest I still manage to pay all my bills on time bymyself and I live on my own so its not cheap and my baby has everything she needs you need to be prepared for your child

well i lost my job so the only job i have is selling avon in a small town i just started that. my boyfriend works at pizza hut and dont make much. i have a car that costs me $400 a month we pay $500 for rent and bills. i have to drive out of town for my apointments im poor its hard im trying the best I can.

Yep.. I had EVERYTHING for Logan by the time I was 20 weeks.. It was a great feeling to know that i had everything ready, and I didnt have to worry about anything. Then I just focused on buying diapers and wipes for the rest of my pregnancy
