****December 2009 Baby Mama's:-)******
posted 11th Apr
This is my first time doing a thread... I posted one on the pregnancy issues forum and someone recommended me adding a post to the due date buddies forum so here goes... This is a thread (I think) for all of us mommies expecting in December 2009. Here we can share our pregnancy symtpoms, questions, fears and concerns with other mommies that are due around the same time. I don't know about you guys but so far I'm just feeling sick:-( The only way I can describe the 1st trimester of pregnancy for me is that I feel like I have a stomach virus with the tiredness and nausea... Yes, that's a perfect description for me, a stomach virus with constipation!

Hello everyone. I'm shavon and i'm four weeks pregnant with my first child. My husband and I are super excited! I've been feeling like crap though..ALREADY! I didn't think that syptoms show this early but I guess it's different with every woman. But I Agree With "Michelle Loves Julia" on the boobs thing. I feel like mine are going to fall off! lol! I've also been bloated and sleeping like crazy as well. Before I became pregnant I was an early riser. I'd be up and ready to go maybe 7:30 8:00 but now, I don't see daylight until 12:00 1:00 (in fact i just woke up) after then I dont get to see my husband off to work in the morning b/c i'm just so exhausted. Like i've been working all day. But ne ways, I can't wait to be a mom. I think this website will be good for me b/c alot of women on here already have kids and this is my first so i know i will have plenty of peeps to talk to about what to expect and everything else. I'm so excited!

I'm just... tired all the time. And I keep measuring myself because I feel like I'm too big for my skirts, but apparently that's an illusion because there's no increase yet according to Mr Tape Measure.
Anyway, good luck to all of us December gals. I'm scared. This is my first and all... but it will be worth it in the end!

I'm constantly tired and moody. My father was over last night and I was playing my fiancee's xbox 360. well he turned off the tv and I literally went insane on him. I got SOOO mad. I've done very well on the sickness. I noticed that I eat as soon as I get up, I never feel sick the whole day.

First off, I'm sooo glad that you, Leslie, are doing this thread! Once I got my BFP on April 7, I tried to jump in on one of the other threads for December mommies....and they were already on page 60!!
Secondly, my name is Sara and I'm expecting in the middle of December. Unfortunately, this is my fourth pregnancy due to having had 3 losses....so, I'm a little nervous to say the least. My hubby and I have no problems whatsoever with getting pregnant....it's that staying pregnant part that we hope works this time. My RE did some things differently this last cycle, so I'm hoping that this did the trick.
As for how I feel so far, I'm tired! I'm tinkling around the clock!!! I feel a lot of uterine twitching which is really cool. I'm hoping that I don't get morning sickness this time around! I was really weepy about a week after I ovulated and my acupuncturist said that this was from the Clomid. I swear I could have bawled through a Hallmark commercial! I'm still a little moody but it comes and goes.
I wish everyone good sticky dust for their little beans!

Im due Dec 6th so far, this will be my first . i have had a lot of dry heaving, especially when i brush my teeth and my lil boobies feel like lead weights. I had a blighted ovum in april 2008, so i am a very nervous girl right now. having an U/S on thursday just to check that everything is ok.

Congrats ladies! I just confirmed this last week that I am due with my first in December, and while I am super excited, I'm nervous and scared since this wasn't expected. I have, however, been feeling great. I realize now that the first week after conception I was really tired all the time and moody (I thought it was PMS). But I have been taking New Chapter Organics PreNatals for quite some time and just added Nordic Natural Prenatal DHA's and have had a ton of energy! In addition, I sip on a cup of Traditional Medicinals Pregnancy Tea all day long at work. I have been urinating frequently and my breasts are tender.
So I have a question about letting others know - Are most of you waiting until after the first trimester to tell people? What about your employers? Any advice would be appreciated!

Sara C good luck and heres some sticky dust....Rabekah we tols our few close friends but waiting to tell my daughter and family becasue we have had two loses in the last 7 months and it is just too hard to tell them it didn't work. We are waiting till we get the u/s at 9 to 11 weeks to make sure everything is ok before we tell anyone, expectally my NEW jobs.

I told EVERYONE. I have no idea why! I guess I feel like I want to live in the moment in case it doesn't last. This is my first baby, and I'm older than anyone else I've seen on this site... so part of me thinks my body may just go into shock and be all, "WHAT IS THIS THING" and reject it. Instead of worrying though I'm embracing it and living it up, since I am pregnant TODAY and that's all that matters.

We're waiting until at least 2 months before we tell people, although I did tell two close friends. My husband's mom will tell EVERYONE once she knows, so she's definitely on the wait list! We just want to make sure things seem to be going okay first, since EVERYONE is going to know. :-)
