Phantom Kicks, when does it end?!

I am now 6 months PP. Since about 3 months PP I've been having phantom kicks. They've become increasingly harder and more frequent. I took 3 home pregnancy tests over the course of 2 months, both negative. It really started to freak me out because it feels so real. So I went to the doctor and got a blood test, also negative.I had always heard of women talk about phantom kicks. It's such a WEIRD feeling!! I feel insane! I don't even want to be pregnant again, so it's not like I'm tricking myself into thinking that it's there. Anyone else have this happen? If so, when does it stop?

i don't know if they ever stop. I still get them and am 9 months pp..

OMG someone else is having them too! I spoke of these before and someone gave me looks...yes sometimes late at night I feel them when my stomach is flat and I lay on my back and sometimes I feel a phantom heart beat which is really mine now...I'm 15 weeks pp

I had the phantom kicks with my angel for almost 8 months.

OOOhhh.. This is the first I hear of phantom kicks! I see it in my future now that it has been brought to my attention lol.

Yeah, I feel my heart beat down there too. I was thinking maybe I'm finally getting my period back? and it could be increased blood flow down there? IDK what it is. It's definitely odd.

I never had them.

I still have them but they are starting to slow down.. and I still get that heart beat feeling.. i'm over 11 months pp...

Well I've had my period two times so far

I'm so glad so many women have this happen. I felt so weird mentioning it to my doctor. I thought she was gonna think I was a total nutcase. heh

what did she say I didn't wanna ask because I thought I would be called a nutcase too lol

I still get them and I'm 15 months PP.

I had them up until I got pregnant with my 2nd. My oldest is 5 (was 4 when I got pregnant). I have had a few since giving birth this time also, and I am almost 7 weeks PP

She said that sometimes it just happens. It could be muscle spasms and things still going back into place. She also said that I could be more "aware" of feelings in my abdomen from being pregnant and it could be something as simple as gas.

ETA: Gas NEVER felt like this before I had a baby, if that's what it is...
