Me either. I need little boobs with sky high nipples. I can nurse him in a mei-tai if I wear him really low. I'm REALLY going to try hard next time.

Haha. Here are some pics of me nursing Isla in the non-stretch wrap. It's the only thing I've been able to successfully do it in!

Well, when she was really tiny I could breastfeed cradle hold style in the stretch wrap, but only if I used one hand to hold my boob away from her nose, and IF she was in the mood to be squished. She didnt like cradle hold much. She wanted to be able to kick her legs.

Just for referrence, she is now 21 lbs, 29 inches tall and is walking.

This is the height I usually wear her... obviously way too high to nurse.

And here is after I've lowered her by untying the knot and bouncing her lower. Then re-tying.
Nursing.

Sorry I'm a total picture whore.

She is so freaking adorable. What kind of material did you use? Is that the stuff you were talking about is really expensive?

Thanks!
It's twill fabric. I found it on sale for 5.99 a yard. I needed 5 1/2 of it, there's no way I was paying 19 or even 14 dollars a yard for it! LOL

Very cute pics Sharon. That's how I nurse Milo in a mei-tai, but I still usually have to hold my boob up for him.

I love that fabric!

Thanks. I'll keep my out for some of that kind then. I'm pretty small, so I can do without as much material. Especially if I don't wrap it around so many times or do the front loop. YOu just have yours criss crossed front and back right?

Yeah, you put the center of the wrap around your lower back, bring to the front, cross and throw the straps over the opposite shoulder, then cross again on your back, bring to the front and tie a loose knot.
Then put the baby in the cross on the front, untie the knot while holding onto the ends, and bounce up and down a little to bounce their weight off the wrap so you can pull it tight enough around them. Re-tie.

A cotton gauze fabric works well too. The twill is a little stiffer than some other woven wraps, but it works just fine.

Thanks sounds good. I'm gonna keep my eye out for the fabric then. My normal one just doesn't hold her up at all, lol
