Quoting No day but today: If your daughter is still young, then yeah you'll want to fold it in half. For my daughter I need it ... [snip!] ... I need it wide because she is older and wiggly and needs the extra material for support. So, she'll grow into the widthSo you don't fold over your Moby anymore w/ Lydia? I never thought of doing that. There's no way I could do a stretchy wrap w/ Milo at this point though. He's way too heavy for my front and he's such a wiggler I'm afraid I'd lose him on my back!

Quoting mandalyn[EBFB]: How did I JUST find this thread? That's crazy. Anyways.. I made my own wrap. But I have a question. ... [snip!] ... started with it wider but cut it down a bit. But it's always riding up, and can be a real pain putting it on. Is that normal?

Quoting Just Us Girls♥EBFB: I put my moby on before I leave the house and just put her in it when we get to the store. It works ... [snip!] ... the dirty ground. I'm not sure about the twisting or bunching? The mobys just pritty much stay put. I've never had a problem.I've always put it on at home as well. I had to do it in the parking lot at the zoo. I had to have DH stand behind me and hold the ends as I wrapped it, lol

Quoting ~:Ashley {9 wks}:~: Have any of you ladies heard of or tried the baby k'tan carrier?I've heard of it.. but don't know anything about it, lol. Sorry I'm not much help
Quoting mandalyn[EBFB]: I've heard of it.. but don't know anything about it, lol. Sorry I'm not much help It's okay. The lady that I talked to said she loved it but I'm not so sure.
Quoting ~:Ashley {9 wks}:~: It's okay. The lady that I talked to said she loved it but I'm not so sure.I was just looking at them. It really reminds me of a moby wrap.. it just doesn't go around your waist. I personally like the moby for the fact that it does go around the waist which takes some of the pressure off your shoulders. I don't like the ones that hang from you. The way the back of that one is.. with the X shape in the back seems like it would be uncomofortable to me, since it's more bunched up. But not having ever tried it.. I know I can't really say. Just from the different wraps I have tried, it's what I get from the design.

But since I've never used a moby on an infant, my son is three, I'm trying to find a wrap that works best with an infant that is breastfed. I just can't visualize how it would work in a moby or any wrap at this point.

Quoting kateje: Hi my name is Kate and my daughter loves her Moby! Whenever she fusses I put her in it and she quiets down right away. Sound asleep while daddy wears her around the house
