I have a moby and want to try a Mei-Tei or Ergo with my 6 month old.
Where can I find one for a good deal? Anyone re-selling?

Says you can use it at 5 months. But I feel like thats a trustworthy position for a almost 3 month old?

as long as your baby has head control, yes. My nephew is 3 months old and does like to face outward also...

here is a link to my FB picture. It wont let me just copy the image location like i normally can..

I started out with a Moby Wrap (which i still have and love)

But, at 23lbs, he was getting too big for it. So I ventured into SSC (soft structure carriers)

I now use my Mei Tais..

Or my Boba carrier...

All three choices

i forgot!!

Here is a great link that i was given that shows a way to braid your wraps (stretchy or woven) so that you dont just roll them into a ball

there is really no way to safely forward face in a carrier. Having them face out put a lot of pressure and all their weight on the crotch and it is really bad for hip and spine development. Also the baby can get over stimulated if he/she cant turn and look at the parent. If you baby wants to see the world it might be time to get a new carrier. Mobys are good for the newborn stage but are not really good for bigger/active babies. A ring sling is a good way to wear a baby on the hip so they can look out or a carrier they you can wear on your back like a woven wrap.
