Bleh. Had to post the pic and description separately, phone is being screwy.

Mei tai by Twirly Bird Baby.
I love it! I had a moby first, which was good for the newborn stages. But this is so much easier to get on, while still distributing LOs weight well. And its so pretty!

I would suggest getting a mei tei. You can wear it front, back or on the hip. Also, you can get a MT alot cheaper than a ergo.

I hace a boba (whick i love!) And i made a few mei teis to shove in my diaper bag for when i go out

i use a mei tai for t. i dunno why but it hurts my back so bad now.
i'm tiny 90 lbs and 5'3 and t is big   35 inches and 28-29 lbs now.
is that why ??
i put him on my back today and couldn't wear him long at all. it's so weird i can wear him in front still and it seems like it hurts my back LESS that way. but even then i cant wear him long.

is that normal??

How wide are your straps? If your straps are narrow, (like 2" wide) that could be causing the pain. When you wear him on our back, do you put the straps rucksack style in front (backpack style) or do your criss cross them across your chest?

So my Ergo came a few days ago and I LOVE it! She hates her Moby sooo much but she's amazing in the Ergo! She was fussy today while I was trying to do my makeup so I popped her in it, and I swear it was like magic:

The picture is awful, but I just thought I'd share

Try putting the straps ruksack style. When you pull the straps forward, dont criss cross them, just take them down and take the strap and put it under his foot and tie it under his butt.

If you dont understand, i can find some pictures or something.

If that doesnt decrease your pain, maybe you should look into a maya tie. Its like a cross between a moby and a mei tei.

i agree. criss crossing the straps is probably distributing the weight weird. you could try going a lexi twist on the baby's butt and then doing Tibetan in the front
its more like a chest strap and holds the weight better. you can always youtube some videos on how to tie Tibetan
