Jasmine didn't start walking until she was 2...
They told me she was going to need braces on her legs and wouldn't read and all kinds of other crap, lol.... Obviously, they don't always know what they're talking about...
Nice to meet you!

Oh yeah..... I'm not sure when Jasmine cut her teeth, but I do remember when she was about 8, her bottom front tetth never fell out, because the teeth replacing them didn't come in under the baby teeth.. They came in behind the baby teeth!
I had to have her put under general anesthsia for them to remove the baby teeth.... They were kind of like two rows of teeth.... Kind of like a shark..?
Her teeth came in at random spots, not like "normal" kids... Her teeth came in a weird, random pattern, if that makes sense? IDK, she was really scared of the dentist though, thus the putting her "under", lol....

Welcome Angela! Congrats on your new bundle!!

I was 21 when I had Lincoln. Did you do the AFP test when you were pregnant? I did and it came back normal. We got the test results a week after he was born.

i did get the AFP test and itcame back forDSbut refused the Amnio because i was keeping him no matter what... but the specialist told me there was nothing wrong to go have a healthy normal baby and when the pedi checked him out she wanted to do a chromosonal test and it came back positive for DS.. which i had already prepared myself for the positive results...

Hi Lindsay- I'm Vanessa and I have a 4-yr old son with DS. He's had vision problems from when I believe since he was born. He's always tried very hard to see upclose he literally has to be in your face to look at you. In which at first I thought he just enjoyed looking at me talk all the time. It wasn't till he was 2 that the doctor asked me did I have any vision concerns and I told her yes it I would call him down the hallway and he would look for me which the hall was about 10 ft long. So at the time I thought he was nearsided. We were referred to an eye specialist and found out that he was farsided. So ever since then he's been having annual eye exams. This yr. he was prescribed a stronger prescription so I do believe that this will be an ongoing issue for him.
