Severe Weather thread.

This thread was originally started to keep the mothers in Tornado Alley updated during Tornado season.

As the season has passed, I want to keep everyone on here up to date w/ severe weather updates, and to be able to keep in contact if something happens to any of you all.

I can only get updates for severe weather from my town and surrounding towns, so if you can join and add updates so I can keep the OP updated w/ Alerts and Warnings, to keep everyone informed.

Im in.......Im in kentucky as well. 2 hrs away from you. This is interesting mama.
I love the spring season. Except the tornados and bad storms. Sometimes I dont mind a good storm minus the tornado. Here the past couple of years, we've had some strange weather. Like in Jan of 08.....we had a terrible storm that led to a tornado .....here in louisville ky.

Im getting ready for the storm we're having today. Taking in all my hanging baskets of plants and pots that are outside. Not only that.....Im very cautious I get scared easliy. Especially after me dealing and being in a actual storm with torandos that have damaged my house. My mothers awhile back when she was living. They're scary......VERY. I dont see how tornado chasers do it.

A good thing eh? I was hoping I wasnt in the area with the bad storms as well. But she informed me.....to watch weather.com. And I found out I was. Hence she's only 2 hrs away. What part of IL you from? Ive been to chicago. I loved the busy streets.

This is scary. But just a heads up...
When a tornado actully hits then you know I have had my baby!
When the tornado hit Earlington Ky in November 15 2005 My daughter was 3 months old. Another tornado hit Nortonville Ky on October 18 2007. That was the day my son was born. He was only 5 hours old =/

Cool mama. All these Kentucky mothers. Where in the hell have you all been hiding. I not so many ky mamas on here. Or as long as Ive been on gaga. Except the OP and a few others.

Oooo yes!! My friend Laurie lived in evansville. I believe thats where it was. Killed lots of ppl in their sleep. Since it happend late at night. I told laurie thank goodness she was up that night......she heard the wind etc . Watched the weather on tv I believe . Took shelter anyhoo. Her and her SO and their 3 boys were safe.
But so sad for the families that lost their life. I wonder why the warning siren didnt go off?
