I am surprised at the lack of tropical activity so far though! I haven't looked lately..but I don't think there has been a named hurricane this year, has there?

Nevermind..in the pacific there is a TS Blanca. I am not sure about the east coast yet..I am looking.

I'd like to join this I live right accross the bridge for Louisville KY we pretty much get all the same weather and stuff.

i dont know if this counts for your weather postings, but i live in az and right now we are haveing heat watches and advisories, its been like 115 all week and here in our news its consider a weather watch/warning they have most of the valley in a red code, so becareful ladies its hot and drink plenty of water stay indoors and make sure you keep extra water in the car just incase, as you know you have seen plenty of cars stuck on the side of the roads due to cars not being able to function correctly in the heat and you dont want to get stuck w/out water

I got a text from SO about 2 hours ago saying there's a tornado going through where he works. I'm not sure if any of you ladies live in the Crystal Beach area in Ontario, but apparently there's one there right now.

Its getting really bad over here and more storms headed my way.

i dunno if this matters, but i live in NYS and we get really nasty thunderstorms in teh summer, anyways we had one last night and im broncophobic, and im freaking out bc im home alone, the lighting was so bright and the thunder was so loud and it lasted like 2 hours! im glad thats over! 

down here in south texas, we've been getting rain almost every day for the past wk!
